The abysmal failure of Citizens United

What's the matter is Citizens United EVENED the playing field and until you fucks eat about 50-60 years of the shit we've had to eat, go pound sand.

Amazing that NOW we all need to band together to get the bad, evil money out of politics. Where the fuck were you and your hypocritical ilk when you had the monopoly on large donations from groups?

And it's you and a bunch of gullible dumbshits with short memories against me and the SCOTUS. I feel real good about my position. Come on back after about 40 years of you sleeping in the bed you shit, then we'll talk about what's right. MmmK?
Do you think corporations give a flying fuck about you? They don't bribe politicians to pass republican policies that help you out, you monumental retard, they bribe politicians to pass shit that helps them out, and you eat it up like fuckin' candy

So true, same as unions.

The crowd got loud when corporations were given the same rights as unions. You have to see the skepticism of some on the right for your incentive to tackle it now.

ftr, I know you personally are against all money, you just have to understand where Muyloco's point comes from. It's a valid one too.

last time i checked, unions procured higher wages, better benefits, and top notch safety for their workers.

that's the exact opposite of a corporation's goal.

do you even think before you spew your fox news talking points?

I get paid more working for the large hospital corporations than I do working for small independent hospitals.

You are right about some hospitals and some unions. Generalizing is making you wrong though. It's a sign of the feeble mind;)

i am not generalizing, i am stating the mission of a corporation. the mission of a corporation is not to hire as many people as possible or to pay them as much as possible. instead, they seek to minimize those costs to optimize profits. that's a fact.

the mission of a union is to get higher wages, better benefits, and greater safety for their workers. they rose up as a response to corporations doing the exact opposite. hence the mission statement of the AFL-CIO

We dedicate ourselves to improving the lives of working families, bringing fairness and dignity to the workplace and securing social equity in the Nation.

And teachers unions are only about the kids. And Police unions are only interested in the safety of the citizens....

How were the tacos?

I don't care what they do now that they can give money in the EXACT same way unions have been doing for DECADES. I want you and the asshats like you to stew in the juices of your own making. The fact you are all whining like pussies while it's happening, only makes it that much sweeter.

And for the record, I'm a stockholder in MANY of those corporations. What's good for them is good for me and mine. Sucks when groups of assholes sway the tides of elections for their own benefit, don't it? You drip with hypocrisy.

don't you know that activists like the koch brothers are so proud of their activism that they have to hide and funnel their money through shady groups that cannot easily (if at all) trace back to them?

it's just what activists like the koch brothers do.

Oh, yeah...it's the "hiding" that bothers you. STFU you piece of shit liar.

So, you get complete exposure that corporations gave all the money to Repubs, just like unions gave all theirs to Dems, now what? You're cool with it?

You obvious, partisan fucks can't stand that you don't have the monopoly on massive donations from groups of citizens. Tough shit.

SCOTUS RULED, eat it.

I am 27 years old, I've been fighting for this since I became aware of politics, I have never supported outside influence buying our democracy. I don't want unions or corporations or anything other than the American voter to decide American governmental policy. The mistake ML makes is generalizing everybody left of him by saying they all support(ed) union money influencing politics, I've posted the polls, 91% of Americans, that includes liberals/progressives, independents & republicans, support campaign finance reform, and he's standing in opposition to the entire country to spite "the other side" because he believes we all support it. He's the one that supports it.

And he's not a thinking man, otherwise he would see how his opinions actually harm himself

Thinking man?
Muyloco is a retarded right wing republican. He hasn't got an original thought in his tiny brain.

Comparing union donations to any candidate who supports workers is nothing compared to this

What I find even dumber is the fact that he's willing to hurt himself just to hurt other people with different political opinions because he thinks they've done it to him for "decades", not it's "his turn"..

Straight up mind boggling of monumental proportions

Like I said before though, he's in that 9% of useful idiots that oppose campaign finance reform, the less than 2% of retards who oppose the scientific consensus on climate change and truly believed Mitt Romney had a chance in hell at winning the general election.. It's safe to bet against him in literally every opinion he has..

I wasn't kidding when I said I felt sorry for him..

What I find dumber than that is people like you that think you can hoist your laughable position, which is nothing more than a fear of losing your advantage, to some grand, compassionate and mutually beneficial crusade to save us all from something you've exalted for your entire life. You advocated "hurting" others with different political positions, now you want to dodge your much-deserved retaliation.

You're a coward, nothing more than that. Just like the overwhelming majority of libs. I don't pity you, I seek your political and philosophical demise. I drink your milkshake.

Love that partisan hack logic. Our donations good, your donations bad...derp. Why, because we believe our views to be righteous and good.

You're an idiot of the highest caliber.

Don't hold your breath on that one, we'll be seeing 8 more years of a democrat in the white house, as with the past two elections your party hasn't stood a chance. Clinton will raise something like $2 billion, and it's the exact policy you support that'll be responsible for it.

I bet that makes you feel smart, because it should :)

Unions transparently supporting pro labor candidates for their members is exactly like corporations secretly funneling money to Candidates who will increase their profit margin.

Yes you are a stupid detrimental mother fucker

Do you not understand literally everybody BUT YOU is saying "GET ALL MONEY OUT OF POLITICS", that includes unions

Any money influencing politics is bad, even union money

What the fuck is the matter with you?
Without money how do you overcome the inherent advantage of incumbents?
