What the fuck is wrong with you? Seriously. You call yourself lazy and then when people agree with you, you get made.

Your problems have been stated.
Your lazy.
Your lazy.
Your lazy.
Your a punk ass kid that thinks he knows it all.
Your Lazy.

First, quit being lazy. I told you this moths ago. If you want something go get it. Quit saying you can't and quit making excuses.

Second, be smart enough to shut your fucking mouth and listen when someone smarter and wiser is telling or teaching you something.

That's it. That's all you got to do.

I know I've cursed and sounded mean. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

You are your worst enemy. Change that.
I was talking about, how when I say I no.longer do something people weren't paying attention and they tell me to stop doing that thing i've already stopped doing that's when I get mad, not because of things like this

"Hey could you give me some advice ?"

"Get off your ass and apply for construction work.

Me- "Fuck you bitch you don't know what's right for me

That conversation makes no sense.

I appreciate all of your guys advice, I actually am now trying to get into construction alot of you made that sound very interesting, my question is this though, do construction workers have a set schedule or does it vary, I personally would not mind waking up at 5 and being at work by 6:30 working til 4 or 5:30 working 5 or 6 days a week, Btw Ihave a phone but no service as I can't afford it.

Im not trying to troll.

You response ^^^^^^^^^^^ to me saying i had a feeling your looking for easy work .

This isnt a smart move , or a plan that will allow you to advance in pay with experience , im not trying to be disrespectful or mean but your thinking like a mush belly , you have to be aware of your lack of education & poor performance at the education you do have , your options are fucked from get go bro .

Im not book smart my own self so im not shitting on you but i am trying to make you aware of your limitations , without substantial education jobs that turn into home buying savings account building careers are far & few in between for anybody , what you should take advantage of is your youth & strength of body , if you started now as a helper in any of the building trades you would be making $30 to $50 an hour in 5 to 6 yrs & have a skill you could market around the world .

I was in the same boat as you , i was a 7th grade dropout but i was smart enough to know i was uneducated & was gonna have to bust my ass if a wanted a life ,why have it easy for 1\3 the pay ?

There are 3 approaches to building a career , the 1st is education which leads to higher wages & a good life that guys like @see4 make , the 2nd way to build a career is by busting your ass like i did , i made a great living from hard work ,the 3rd way is the easy route where ya look for the easiest work available , that route you end up a drooling idiot , broke as hell , 55 years old watching grass grow as a security guard with a flashlight guarding a swamp for $10 an hour.

You gotta have something to offer an employer , if it isnt higher education it'd better be willingness to bust ass .

That's not to say I don't bust my ass. :P

You and I, and people like us have worked hard to get where we are today. Nothing in life is every free, except maybe for the Kardashians.

Needless to say, you are absolutely right in your assessment. Hard work always pays off.

I wasnt implying you dont work hard & didnt bust ass to get where your at , i was meaning your job requires education to even get in the door , i dont like using somebody as an example without letting them know im talking about them .

I know you worked hard , something thats getting scarce , these kids want what we have at 20 without ass busting & it isnt realistic .

Oh, noo, my last comment wasn't implying that I thought you thought I don't work hard. I was merely adding to your point, further providing more feedback to the member you were conversing with. I didn't read beyond your comment, so I don't know who exactly you were referring.

You are absolutely right about kids these days expecting mo' money, and not having to work for it. It's just silly.

I'll take a chance & splain .

Most of the indoor trades like electricians , plumbers , tile setters ect have set schedules most projects , all the outdoor trades like iron workers , roofers , masons , carpenters , cement finishers , brickys ect do not have set schedules , 1st rule for outdoor trades is start early to beat the heat , carpenters MUST hit goals , Iron workers MUST hit goals , cement finishers MUST finish the pour , Roofers MUST finish the section of roof , Brickys MUST hit goals , the outdoor trades will hold all the other trades up if they dont keep to the superintendents schedule ( My job ) & normally work until the days goal is complete, heavy fines can be put on a contractor for not meeting deadline & with the outdoor trades its deadly serious with deadlines so the chance of working overtime comes up more often .

When i was a Roofer my hours were from 8 to 18 hours a day , when i moved to Architectural Sheet Metal my hours were 8 & skate because no trade depended on my work , when i joined the Operating Engineers & was a Crane operator i was the 1st man on site & the last to leave because every trade needed material hoisted to their work area .

When i took a Superintendent position i was the boss of all the trades & me & the Crane Operators were 1st on site & last to leave , thats just some examples .

No matter what trade you go into any foreman worth a fuck will have you out in 8 hours most days & rarely over 9 hours , the work is so hard that after 8 hours tradesmens production goes down after working extra hard all 8 hours , this is especially true with union companys , they pay much higer wages therefore production is much higher & more tightly managed .

Most are slugs or sidewalk gangsters who wont work , even one of our god children is a milk toast who wont work , he's 26 & still in college & doing the welefare foodstamp bit , meanwhile our sons ( his best friends ) are taking the family businesses we passed on to them to the next level & working day & night .

Were proud as fuk of all 3 of our sons , our eldest lost his life in Iraq, our middle son has a degree in business administration from U of M ,our youngest is just shy of getting a degree in landscape architecture & will be going back to finish school soon , he only left school to fill my shoes running the 2 self storage facilities we own , correction he now owns .

He's putting together the money now to build an addition at the smaller storage facility where people will be able to store their motorcycles , boats , atv's & rv's in a climate controlled building .

Our middle son left his corporate job to take over the real estate business & manage the rental homes , before i gave him the business we bought , remodeled & flipped 6 to 8 foreclosed homes a year , so far in 2015 he's allready flipped 4 homes , his 5th is on the market , they are working on the 6th now & the 7th is allready bought & awaiting the crew to finish the last house , he wants to flip 12 to 14 houses this year & he might be able to at the rate he's going .

He's doing something i wasnt smart enough to do & thats to bid on blocks of homes from HUD & Wells Fargo , thats 1 reason i havent been round much as we looked at 11 different homes , he's bidding on a block of 5 & another block of 3 , if he gets all 8 homes he'll put atleast $500k in his pocket .

Were extremely proud of how both kids are handeling their new found income , neither kid is blowing their profits on toys & bullshit , both are still living in the modest homes we gave them & reinvesting their profits to diversify the businesses in ways i never could have done .

Both son's have many friends who still live at home with parents & party vs working & its sad for us to see them so hopeless .

There's a few hard working kids out there .
Thank you. I had no idea you lost a son in Iraq. Wow. And to have such industrious kids- they must have learned their work ethic from you two. Nice. Ok faith in humanity restored.

If your Lazy just stay in bed .

If your LAZY just stay in bed .

You dont got no money & you dont want no bread .

This one's for you young man .

It almost seems as if you all are going out of your way to try to misconstrue everything i've said, You guys are giving me good advice, and recommendations which is what I asked for and I thank you for that, but you all make it seem as if im not even trying to progress but instead find every reason not to, that is not the case.

I made this thread cause I was tired of laying around all day wishing I was doing something different. I am doing what I can to get back on track, I applied for 3 different jobs today in person, I mostly am interested in becoming a laborer, construction worker etc. as it sounds like they pay enough to where I can live comfortably by myself, and not have to worry about my mom getting mad and embarrased when her long distance boyfriend comes to live with her in the summer and sees a grown man sitting around doing nothing.

I actually would really like to be a stevedore

Its because you keep saying the same thing over and over, just different wording.
