Yes. To my understanding the supply of housing and construction hasn't kept up with demand. Denver is one of the fastest growing cities in the us. All those cock suckers from California came threw with all there home equity built up cuz they got priced out of California. Also a lot of Texans and Midwesterns from Chicago and Michigan also
Ya definitely bro i wish everyone would just go home they make it hard to live with prices going so far up its unreal, ur right thos i see huge buildings being put up every few months its ridiculous cuz i kno shits not built right

I hear Chicago is really nice. I've only flown in/out for business, never got to stay. And best of all Wendy Fiore is from there.

Boston is a great city in the summer, and a fucking shit stain during the winter.

NYC will always be my city. Sao Paulo is also really amazing, and of course Paris and London.

you know i'm glad someone brought this up..how the hell do you roll those 'raw'?

i like them for the burn, but so slippery..hand moisturizer doesn't help.

the trick por favor?
The raw papers? I lick my finger tips a little and rub em... Kinda like preparing a woman's asshole for anal but much less saliva needed

80,000 at best is a lot of money. I bring home under 30000 a year. Even if I were just making 50000 a year would make a huge difference in the way I live. There will always be idiots that no matter how much money they have they will always be broke because they want to spend it on lavish things. Something did go wrong everything kept on going up in price gas prices are extremely high.Crocheted are extremely high and all my bills are extremely high. Take this week for example I just worked a hundred and five hours for this pay check brought home $840 650 of that is going towards my rent Then at least 200 of it is going towards groceries for the next two weeks. So that they are leave me 10 dollars in debt and then my wife $200 comes in to pay for gas and the utility bill.
Bringing home under $30,000 in 1990 meant you were living a sub-comfortable life, unless you figured out how to make it work. I can't imagine what it's like to bring home under $30,000 today. I hope things work out for you man.

As you wallow through a thread full of people crying for more money.

The discussion is about burger flippers wanting more money than they are worth.

Minimum wage is not = to living wage.
Otherwise they would be called the same thing.

Want more money? Educate yourself. Pretty simple solution. There are plenty of people out there living successful lives.
hold that thought.

you are saying to that person, giving up one hour of their life, that they are only worth
$7.25/hour?

effectively saying, your life is only worth $7.25/hour..how so, david?

EDIT: minimum wage = the least amount of wage acceptable to be paid to your employee by law. this has nothing to do with skill..do you see the word skill in there?^^^ aka set standard.

if congress were to be paid on skill(or production for that matter), what would their salary really be?

why is it okay for them to do nothing, yet still be paid? what happened if you had a job and failed to produce..would you expect to be paid?

now that we're on the subject..why is it okay to add the 'delivery charge of $2.25" to everything while decreasing amount of product sold due the the high price of oil?

what about the, now low, price of oil?..do the 'delivery' charges go away? sizes of cereal increase? fuck no! the sheeple have already been sold!

I don't know how someone can live on minimum wage, If I hire a gofer to help for a day or two I pay ay least 20.00 per hour and buy them lunch. My employee's are hand picked and hard workers and they make a good living and I realize there are very few people that can do what they do so I treat them with respect and share my profits with them.

I have a feeling that things are going to get worse for the collage kids looking for good jobs because most of them don't want to get dirty and stinky and sore from hard work with their hands.

I am around a lot of young people that all want to be biologist and the market is mostly government jobs that are flooded with workers already, and from what I am hearing it doesn't pay much better than minimum wage anyway when they start off.

We need welders, pipe fitters, net builders. There is room for tradesman, craftsman type people around my area but I don't see a lot of people that want or can do that type of work. So I see things getting much worse than they are now.

I would be for rising minimum wage to 15.00 per hour but I still don't think anybody can get ahead much at that rate nowadays .

I got priced out of Denver recently.. I'd have to move yay to afford rent there in my own house and I'm trying to get away from that noise. I refuse to live with a roommate or in the city of pueblo or some Shit like that.

While Reich with his self righteous hypocritical ways bankrupts college students. He receives $242,613 Salary For Teaching ONE CLASS. http://dailycaller.com/2014/08/06/robert-reich-makes-242613-salary-for-teaching-one-class-this-semester/

He's just another corrupt, phony, liberal puke.
Excuse me? He's one of the most qualified individuals on the face of the Earth, and his time is worth a great deal of money. Who the Fuck are YOU to set the acceptable salary range for educational professionals, anyway, Mr 'free market'?! Show us where it says CABINET SECRETARY on your resume??

I'd say he's worth every dime of twice what's he's being paid, and he's taking the pay cut because he loves to teach.

I'd pay serious tuition to take a class from him or nearly anyone of his caliber; I'm definitely going to learn something about how the world really works... and THAT is worth whatever one has to pay.
