Rights I had a slight case of nute burn so I flushed my plants with just ph'd water but no nutrients mistakenly several days ago and then my plants seemed worsen and I noticed gold/brown patches appear on my fan leaves which to me indicated nute lockout of cal mag so I fed them again this morning with 35ml coco a and 35ml coco b and 7ml calmag to 10litres of water ph tested at 6/6.5 using ph liquid indicator and was a light orange colour and tested my run off and was red which am guessing is ph of 5ish so plain flush has caused a dediency and lock out I am guessing so to correct my ph do I put next water oorfeed in at ph of 7/7.5 2 bring my soil ph back to 6/6.5 ??? Im new to this also any question ill do my best answer u :)

Slow down. Post a pic. Write in sentences so old folk like me can follow...

You are going to do more harm than good trying to fix things. For a slight nute burn, I would do nothing. On my next water only feeding, I would go for a little more run off. That's all.

Runoff does not equal soil PH.

Also, if you will say your soil mix, feeding habits, etc we can be of more help.

Are you in soil? If so the soil will buffer the ph its self by the time you need to water again. And changing the PH to much at one time (dramatic swings) will cause more problems than it fixes.

We need a pic of the plant WITH the effected leaves on the plant. Its like doing surgery blind folded.

I don't know that coco product or grow in coco, but coco gets treated like soiless, doesn't it? So you need lower PH overall.

Do some serious reading and less acting to get yourself in shape!

What I am saying is that I would start feeding them proper PH. ISn't it about 5.5-5.8 for coco? You can flush if you think you did excess nutes. But in the end it sounds like you have been PHing too high.

But I am also saying that I don't grow coco so not the best to advise.

what can you get your hands on? Lime is the best and fastest, and i just got mine at wall mart. any feed stoor will have it too. Or you can use ashes, wood chips. peat moss, ect.

If you have nute burn then you should flush them asap. Clean all the fertilizer out of the coco. When you flush just use water phed to the proper ph, maybe a little more or less to correct a little. Burn sucks, the leaves still affected wont get better. Your best tool when running soiless just like hydro is a ppm meter or ec, whatever, but also knowing how to use it. Since soiless needs constant feeding you need to know what your really running through the plants roots. Saying im adding five mls of this and three of that just wont work. Read up on what you should be feeding the plant at different stages, i prefer to feed the plants based on size rather than age. I use the size to determine how much food to add. Theres no pic so i cant tell ya what you should be aiming for as far as ppm goes but its a pretty simple routine once you have the hang of it. Over fertilization is one of the most common growing mistakes so live and learn.
