I'm sure they have a few loaded cannons waiting in the wings. More mold and fire and break-in stories I'm sure.
Statistically wouldn't med grows still have proportionally less break-ins due to numbers alone. I my mind med growers would be more security conscious than regular home owners who can be quite careless. I would think that many med growers are sporting alarms and other security measures. And they may also be just a bit more security aware as well due to the nature of what they're doing.
I don't buy the break-in theory the Gov touts
I have always been amazed by folks who say " oh ya, we leave the doors unlocked "
Ya hear that less now a days but some folks still hate to lock their doors for some reason. Or forget.

I am really bad for that...I used to live in a little community....you know the kind where everyone shows up....I never used to lock the door and I was always leaving keys in the truck....but I'm learning the big city ways again and I only forget once in a while.

It's pretty common for burglars to simply walk into open houses where the door wasn't locked. Or windows is another common point of entry. People leave em open for some fresh air and go off to work. Easy as pie then.
That's my point, I bet home med growers are more careful.....just stands to reason. imo
Alarms guys will tell you, their best customers are the one who just got broke into.

I'd sure like to see the pucker down at HC if they get ordered to reinstate the MMAR in some sort of new config......won't that tighten up old harptler's sphincter ??
If patients grow rights are kept intact, they will have to back track somewhat.:lol::lol:

Besides the issue of unsafe wiring/lighting found in some DIY gardens, I never bought HC's reasons including the whole theft / home invasion epidemic threatening the safety of med mari growers and their neighbors. Seriously, who targets a medical grow for a rip? If I were doing a home invasion, I would be going after cash and over valuables that are much easier to take and worth more. Someone breaking into my garden and fucking off with 30 - 50 plants is going to be pretty easy to spot. And mold...wtf? I want to see the actual stats for the number of thefts, fires and deaths or serious illness caused by mold in LEGAL grows.

5+ yrs with the mmar, never a rip, any mold or bugs.
I also had 2 cops living right behind me and I never heard a word and we spoke twice a week for yrs. no smells, no idiots coming to my house and I NEVER told anyone that new me. I did post online.
imo its all bs or the mold & bugs were3 from rookies.
allow inspections and csa approved system only and we will be fine.

I dont think inspections should be mandatory unless theres insspections on all home gardens.
Someone stupid could wire 10 1000 watters to a single power bar with duct tape to grow tomatoes so maybe they have to find a happy medium and make people who want to grow anything at home on a larger scale.
Thats the one thing to come out of this that i hadnt even considered.
All the fire and mold issues are not strictly bound to growing mj
