I remember the 4th party cup competiton that I won... Cococola36 was all about his purple bud...that some members called him out on...specifically for photo shopping, looking back it was kinda unreal then too... I personally think that maybe its best if all those "photo shopper's" just show their gardening skills in this competition, instead of their photo shop skills.

Just threw these in the dirt today, I will write the dates on each individual cup as the seedlings pop out of the top soil.

All foam 16oz cups. Using a wick system to ensure proper moisture levels, will take a picture of the bottom of each cup when requested to show no roots outside of the cup.

Using my own soil recipe for the medium, pretty much a little of everything from down to earth using coco loco as my base soil. Top dressed with buffalo loam (1-1-1). Will be feeding AACT throughout. Placed the seedlings directly into rapid rooter plugs and the plugs went directly into the soil.

I places the cups strategically in between a hortilux blue mh and a hortilux hps both 600w in my 2400w flower room. The other 1200w are all hortilux hps. I have the one mh in my flower room because I like to let my plants finish under the blue mh.

Strains being used are:
GG4 x purple skunk by @homebrew420

Mazar-i-sharif x northern lights by @homebrew420

Something (I'm pretty sure Tahoe og) x girl scout cookies forum cut by @homebrew420

Lucky charms by bodhi

Bio-diesel by 303 seeds

If I missed anything please let me know and I will gladly get the information out there. First cup competition!

Just ordered me some new L.e.d.'s off bonsaihero.com some of those famous Han's Panels oh btw I ordered the new 150w version!!!
I'm so excited I could almost LOL, sadly I doubt I will receive them in time to use one in the party cup... I guess we'll see.

I emailed them at least a dozen times in preparation for this comp. and they didn't email back once.... I'm disappointed. Why couldn't they dignify my inquiry with a response? I doubt that I'd give them any money on a panel if they can't even take 2 minutes to tell me to fuck off..... I got a set of hand me down bonsai hero and had a few questions about getting replacement blades, and no response on that either... What's the deal? Who am I supposed to jerk off over there to get noticed?

Could you go into more detail about the wicking system your setting up? I am actually curious about that. I tend to leave for trips often and that would be beneficial. Last time I used those self watering bulbs you stick into the soil.

You may... It didnt take too long the last time I ordered some panels from him. and new 150W? shit I am gonna have to check that out! I kinda wanna also try and make my own or do some cobs everyone keeps talking about. I just dunno if I have the time to do that.

@snowboarder396, I just fed three strips of a cotton bandanna through the bottom of the cup and then through one bigger hole directly below the cup which leads to a bucket of water underneath. The cotton wicks up the water and keeps the soil at a nice moisture level. Just make sure you keep the water level in the reservoir nice and high, the longer the water needs to travel up the wick the less effective it will be.

I wasn't even going to bother posting in this forum, but the fourth cup my first cup comp, was a strawberry cough tall and lanky plant I pulled two weeks early to get married in Jamaica annnnnnd wasn't purple at allllll and nobody called me out on anything wrong guyyyy @tkowitha123 but thanks for trying to shit on my name some more for no reason, glad I don't take this forum as anything but that....a forum ....not an essential part of my life
edit: I'm sure people who actually "remember" that cup know who it was and nobody really cared nor made a big deal about it lol...but I don't bother calling people out or trying to shit on them
