Your opinion/experience with the fruits (Bubblegum, White Grapefruit, etc)?

I grew and bred Bubblegum last year and it took about 5 months to get my colas to show 20% amber trich's, but the smoke was the best of everything I grew last year. This year, I popped a few of the Bubblegum x White Grapefruit and they are still getting fat after 5 months of flower. The colas (as big as my arm) are huge and I've been testing over the past 2 weeks and its incredible. I've never had plants take this long to finish, but the smoke I'm getting is way above my expectation. The picture here is from a month ago, but I'll put a fresh one up here tonight, if needed, when lights go out. Comments please?

That's a lot of time spent flowering. Sounds like you are pleased with the results though. I've never flowered anything over 10 weeks.

Me neither dude! That's why I'm asking. But the smoke from last year is still great and jarred and this years seems super powerful...but the trichs are almost ready according to a 30x on them every day. Peace

I've always wanted to try it. I actually had about 7 sprouts once but lost them due to cats:/..
how the fro on it and most important hows the smoke floavor wise

I grew Bubblegum last year and this year and both batches are the best tasting smoke I have ever encountered...other than cigarettes (lol). The name is representative of the taste. It is a smooth, non-harsh, sweet tasting smoke and the effects are great for me with uplifting my attitude and does wonders in the bedroom . I had jarred up 2 fat girls last year and still have a complete jar left. This year, I used some of the beans from my cross last year with Bubblegum x White Grapefruit. I'm testing the lower section buds and they are sweet too, but not yet done. Looks like they will be ready to flush within a week, but we will see.

So, again, has ANYONE had to spend 4-5 months in flower? Peace

Ace seeds purple haze takes 16-20 flower on package, but it's a straight haze, hence the time spent in flower

But I never heard of it in bubblegum or grapefruit, I have grown sweet deep grapefruit

Hey mo, I snapped a couple pics of the Bubblegum x White Grapefruit and will upload them in a bit if you would like to see. I did a test with the 2 girls in the pics. I fimed one and toped the other and fiming once again convinces me! Huge cola production too! Both girls are from the breeding I did last year and were treated exactly the same throughout the grow. Five months sounds crazy for bubblegum. I grew female seeds bubblegummer and it was done at 55 days. I have grown plants that took that long, but they were pure sativas and spent the first three months of flowering stretching. Your plant looks good, I just wonder why it took so long.

I finally took down (after almost 5 months) my two Bubblegum x White Grapefruit crosses that I bred for beans. One of the girls were fimmed 2 times and the other was only topped. The fimmed girl produced over twice the weight and heavier denseness in the colas. Included here is an old picture of the fimmed girl, along with the after harvest pics. Based on this test, I will now stick to the fimming method, since I have tallied the same results three years in a row. I've been continuously picking and testing buds off these girls and both have continually tasted better every pull. The fruits have become my favorite! Peace to all!

I ran a Hawaiian Skunk Haze that took forever to finish but not 5 months that does seem like a long time...I think I'm just sticking to the short flowering time strains.....Nice buds by the

Hey...thanks man! As you know, I have grown many strains just in the past two years. This fruit strain is different than any others, but the smoke is incredible. Wish you were here to share it with me bro! Hope your doing great and have some ganja to help the day. When I finally took those girls down, it had been almost 5 months and the trichs weren't even ready yet. If anyone else has had this or similar happen, please share. Peace
