I vaped and smoked several of Barney's strains at Barney's coffeeshop, and taste and effect are far from "shit". I've only grown Liberty Haze, great plants in every way. Little surprised about the negative comments but like I said, only grown one of their strains, and the mj they sell in the coffeeshop is from the winning clone, not exactly the S1 femmed seeds they sell.
LSD is more of a head high especially compared to the pineapple chunk which actually tastes quite good in their vaporizers, strong indica stoned. Never smoked the critical kush so don't know about that one.

After vanilla kush being the shittiest plants ever I've grown and the nightmare of tangerine what ever it was, why give a company money that can't cross/ breed proper strains? Who releases such shit? Oh yeah marketers with hype (bs cups, and more marketing)

Tangerine Dream is, hands down, the worst plant I have ever grown. A friend ordered a 10 pack thinking he might find the good pheno, all 10 sucked.
Red Dragon is pretty decent. Nothing spectacular, but good. But with the shit I have seen coming from them (like the Tangerine Dream) I prefer to spend my money with more reliable breeders or breeders who are known to have great phenos if you look for them.

Tangerine Dream is definitely one of my favorites to smoke, not a very strong plant to grow indeed. One to avoid for growing, like most breeders have one or more of. If you liked the taste, DNA's Tangie may be a good alternative.

High calyx to leaf ratio:
Pulled 540 gram from 3x4' space, veg 400watt, flowering 600 watt. Main downside was the 11 weeks flower time.
