its impossible dude. in the summer i was working nights and i had about three or four hours to myself every day, besides that i was working every day and driving to and from.

I had to quit after a few months because my life was at the factory
Was it part time or full time cause im workin part time

i found on days i would get home from work eat tea have a shower and start thinking about going to bed coz i gotta be up at 5.30 to start again , on nights i have way more time to myself , although you gotta train yourself to survive on a bit less sleep

Whats the big deal? I did my fair share of overnights in years past. No problems. Its exactly the same as morning shifts or any other shift. Same length, time is just shifted. Best bet would probably be to just stay up for 8 or so hours, then sleep in the afternoon. That way it really is just a shift in times. Dont try to go to bed right after work. Thats just not normal. We all need our wind down time

The biggest thing is sleep patterns. Keep the same sleep schedule

Personally, I really like it. If I have stuff to do, I have my days free. If not, I can sleep during the day and have my evenings free. I can't remember the last time I woke up to an alarm.

I am off tonight but I just want some advice if you work an overnight shift how are you still able to have a day life I like working overnight but here's how it is for me I go to work come home sleep and go to work so it basically just seems as if I'm never home except for my days off it sucks any advice ?
Yes, my advice is to get a 1st or 2nd shift job, 3rd shift is a life killer. The only people who should even consider working 3rd shift are older, married people and even then I don't recommend it. Do yourself a favor and get out now.

Jeez what is the world turning into? In the politics section there is a thread about one of the politicians saying unemployed don't want jobs....

I worked nights for a while. Split shifts. Worst thing about it was having to go to work just as everyone i knew was starting to get wasted.
It'll be ok. Now you have a job, applying for a getting a better one will be way easier. You've broken the cycle of 'having no job and being unemployable'.

Onwards and upwatds!
