riddle me this. at no time in history has congress been so obstructive.

modern politics is fucking bullshit. as long as lobbyists have offices on capitol hill, and bills are earmarked, politics will not be fair.

reagan, clinton, both bush's did not experience such BS congress. modern media and our little darling of freedom of speech has caused politics to be convoluted crap.

many career politicians of both sides will say modern politics is beyond petty and obstructionist.

So, when congressional republicans disagree with bills the democrats put forth, it's obstruction?
I'm curious, what is it when republicans pass a bill in the house and the democrats won't take a vote in the senate?
I agree that both sides of the isle are doing a shitty job for the people, but why is it that only the republicans are the obstructionists, could it be the media perpetrating that narrative :idea:

im a neutral, dont confuse me with either party. to stick to a certain party is biased politics already. I agree with points of both parties. I am a reality minded common sense person.

its all fucked up, but in no time in history has congress been so obstructionist. it was expected during first term, but after reelection, pundits, politics professors, even politicians behind closed doors admit that it has to stop. the american people have spoken.

repubs are more brash and willing to take the ship down with them. a democratic congress would have also been obstructionist to Romney, but not to this extent.

repubs have brass balls and push an agenda, dems are more" lets all get along, and stall this for way toooooo long.

thats one thing i admire of repubs, the whole dont give a fuck attitude, im getting this done. but its dangerous too.

Well, elvis, I agree with all that, except it has always been this way, Go and study it. It was designed to be this way and to look this way. Now it is 500 Citizens and a carefully crafted system competing with the Information Age, for our ATTENTION.

It is all working just fine, and as we would expect, according to the amount of attention we pay to the System but not to the Politics.

History shows when we are successful we take our eye off the ball, but the USA System still works. And WE the People can snap to, quite quickly when necessary.

And in that way, Sunni Jihad, finally sees, they can pick a fight. And they are doing just that.

i smell what youre stepping in, but did congress behave this way for reagan? Clinton? yes as starting point, but not to this extent. politics of the 80's was more lets agree to disagree and still get shit done.

IMO, the republicans are more of an in your face, this is what we believe kind of party, the democrats are more concerned about their reelection than doing the peoples business.
