Hey all, I have an issue. My plants have been drying for almost 4 weeks now am I'm wondering what I should do. One plant succumbed to mold already so I removed it, but the other plants are still pretty far from being dry. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Lol no they're hanging in my basement which is kind of cool, I've had a fan running on them though. Should I wait or try to dry them quicker? Just don't want to ruin the smoke. I've never seen this before either hahah

Dude.. Hen you go to work some one is obviously sneaking them into the bathroom and dipping them in the toilet to make them wet and secretly hanging them bak up lmao(; no seriously thoug good luck man/: I would try a different place since basements are naturally humid.. And cool!

Are you drying the plant whole, with leaves? You might want to consider cutting it into buds to speed this process along..

Your basement is too moist. You better get them out or you wont have anything but mold. dehumidifiers work good 45%humidity. One thing is for sure, you need to speed it up about a few weeks ago.

They are whole plants yes but already trimmed. You think I should still cut them into singular buds? Does that affect potency at all?

Been thinking of getting a dehumidifier but they are really pricey. Might have to give in for the sake of the buds

I think you need to get them out of your basement ASAP. You could cut them into buds and put them in the dryer on permanent press for 28 minutes. That might do it.

P.S. Just joking about the dryer.

Dude mine dry in my basement in about 5 days or so 4 weeks WTF. So circulation will do wonders. I think 70 and 50% humidity is almost ideal which is pretty much my whole basement outside grow room.

Is there not any space in your grow room to hang a net from the ceiling to put them on to dry? Or is this absurd quantities you are talking about?

Yeah the humidity is definitely too high I'm getting a dehumidifier today, but bad news. I have mold on most if not all of the weed. Just small specs but it's mold... Does this weed have to get chucked or can I cut around it and some how get the floating particals off? Well this really sucks!!

I'm looking at 85 humidity and 70 degrees temps. Air circulation is fine. Btw some of yhr buds don't seem to have mold on them can I still save those?

Just got a GE 50 pint dehumidifier, water be damned. Hopefully that at least solves problems from arising in the future

4 weeks? No shit? You better make a change quick. I usually hang them about 5 days, paper bag for a day or two, and bottle them up. I've never had mold. I hang them in a closet with a little fan.
