As an adult and even young adult I made my own choices, sorry you live in some fairy tale land where others make all these bad decisions for you and you can't take responsibility like an adult.
Why can't you buy 3 cartons and go back next month? Why can't your buddies drive themselves to get smokes? Cigarettes are regulated for a reason, they kill people and cost countries around the world trillions of dollars caring for people who smoked knowing full well what we know now, they cost your state a tonne of money so your state has deemed it necessary to increase taxes on cigarettes and impose restrictions on importation from out of state? what's the big deal cigarettes kill more people then Heroin coke meth x combined. I can forgive people smoking 20-30-40 years ago, knowing what we know now you're silly to not at least try to quit one of the most addicting things out there.
I smoked for 10 years, I got addicted when I was young and stupid I knew better but didn't care, when I grew up I realized smoking will kill me or at least degrade my quality of life past an acceptable point of risk and I quit. I was buying cigs for myself at the age of 14 when the law states I must be 19 in my country. Is it the stores fault for selling me cigarettes? I could probably sue them if I wanted, but it wasn't their fault I had facial hair and looked like an adult even as a young adult I can accept responsibility and say I was stupid and made horrible choices no one else made those choices for me. Not even my parents who smoked in the house from the time I was a small child until I was a teenager.
I used to eat a full party sized bag of doritos twice a week is it the companies fault for making them so damn delicious? No, it's my fault for being a glutinous fuck and not eating my favorite snack in moderation.
Quit blaming everyone else, accept personal responsibility and grow the hell up, the fact I am having this conversation with what I assume is a grown man is sad to say the least. If you are over 21 you need to give your head a shake and get out of this mentality you have of everyone being out to get you and everyone being evil and perpetrating all this evil on you without you having any say. Maybe you're the problem, fix yourself through education and you'll see a huge change in the world.
Wait are you seriously equating rape to a heroin user? where the fuck did this conversation go when I wasn't looking. Rape is a violent offense, a horrific traumatizing offense that changes the victims life forever, you are equating that to someone doing heroin? or even smuggling heroin? wow. You need to come down what ever you are on right now and start thinking with a level head. You're in left field on a different ball diamond bud. Violent offenses are what prisons are intended for, to keep violent folks out of society not folks who only hurt themselves if even that.
Seems like one second you're advocating a mad max world of no laws and no law enforcement, the next second we need to build 100x the prisons we have and have public executions. I'm beginning to think I have been trolled. Good job if that's the case if not it's a sad day for humanity.
