MMJPR.ca provides a directory of the licensed producers (and prospective LPs) under Health Canada’s Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR). Users are also able to submit reviews on LPs.

Take a closer look. It's the largest database publicly available as it includes companies that have not been approved yet as well.

We're following the companies that are still pending for announcements/press releases concerning the status of their approval. Also, there are still plenty of companies that aren't listed yet; we're working on that as well.

Just curious - because the only place I have seen Marijuana spelled with an "h" and then a "j" interchangeably is from the Health Canada website.

How come you spell it with an "h" sometimes?

I've wanted to ask someone for awhile - but not many people use the "h". You DO exist...

Nobody cares about a producer who isn't licenced. None of them are guaranteed until they receive a licence. This site is irrelevant and has been done already.

Hah some of the replies are a little harsh Well one suggestion I'd give to you is to get a cheap SSL cert and run the user account pages/registration through https. Not sure why none of the other sites bothered to do it. All it takes is 15 min to register and install and you can use any of the cheap certificates. https://www.namecheap.com/security/ssl-certificates/domain-validation.aspx

Here's an idea: I'm going to start a site that provides information and reviews on all the sites that provide information and reviews of LP's. There's so many review sites, how do you know which one to trust? My website of course, someone get me GoDaddy on the line!...... $$$$$$$$$$

If everyone thought like you then there would be nothing around. Hey man why bother with yet another e-commerce site when there's millions around. Hey why bother with another cannabis forum as there's tons around that are active and no on will use yours.

It might be his time and money but its his to waste and to do with as he wishes.

Except in this case, there are almost as many review sites as there are companies to review, and that is not about to change anytime soon. In fact, the ratio just continues to get worse while everyone under the sun decides to hop on the green rush and start a review site. Also, no one is using the similar sites that already exist (except maybe lift a little bit by the looks of things and they are funded by LPs I believe), and your own site looks to be no exception. I understand people wanting to come up with a business idea, but at least make it a new idea.......sometimes you just need to admit someone else beat you to the punch, or is doing it better, and go find your own niche. Just trying to help and giving my honest opinion as this guy is spamming about his website all over the place and no one cares. His site isn't going to amount to anything, and I don't think yours will either.......no offence meant, just my honest opinion. If it does feel free to come back and quote me, but I think it's a huge waste of time with this area already flooded.

Honestly - the most helpful information I have found here (from the perspective of someone that knew literally NOTHING before June) is from Private conversations with people.

Some people REALLY do want to share the information they have and the knowledge they have gained - because there are some REAL nice people out there...

Others, would rather complain about a broken system rather than try to help change things for the better. Or spend their time trying to make "outsiders" feel bad.

I also firmly believe than at least 50% of the positive reviews on sites like liftmj are left by people getting paid by the company they are reviewing. I'm sure many others feel the same way, which is why people come to forums like this to get their info on companies, strains, etc.

I would say MORE than 50% of the people feel mistrustful of others, or at least the ones that choose to vocalize their opinions do.

Which makes sense, in a way.

But every once in awhile...someone just takes a leap of faith - and they'll actually believe you are a human person that likes to share info - rather than an evil corporate robot.

I really believe - truly - that all the hate here is really preventing anything from getting done.

It's fine - there is SO much information out there. You don't NEED to find it here.

It would just be nice if it was made easier is all...
