I'll bear that in mind. What's the best thing I can do to inoculate it with? If I'm honest I wasn't expecting it to survive. Dunno why just had a feeling.. Practise runs for next year's proper grow! lol

Skip the practice! Its time to bootstrap; the best two things that I think anyone can use
to zap the rhizosphere of any damaging parasitic life forms are the following: 3 days
to ease your mind, 6 days the zone will be secure. I would use the following...

* Great White Shark from Plant Success
* Actino - Streptomyces Lydicus

game over for underground dwelling parasitic life forms.... above ground use
Azamax. Finally, I use House and Garden and they even recommend GWS
although I made up my mind 3 years ago to use this product...KILLER!!!
You will see noticeable growth within 3 days, boy no snake oil here, try it
out.

I will deffo give that ago.. for various reasons I cant actually order anything offline at thw moment but I will in the near future

Quick update.. plants coming along nicely where ive topped it its now starting to recover.. its taken nearly 2 weeks though.. is that normal?.

Also on the lower leaves theyre starting to dry out and turn yellow?
Is this because of the lack of nutes?
Ive not used none as of yet..
Only thing I can buy locally because I live in a small village is tomatoe food? This any good for last few weeks of veg?
Its got a high n and k value.. and will buy some ff big bloom for flowering..
Whats you guys think?
Also when should I start seeing signs of preflowers? Current length of the day atm is 15 1/2 hrs

Cheers guys

see the 1 sack?
I seent it, I know fres says to kill it but I think you should just pluck the pod and see if any more sprout on you. If you can keep it away from the others it would be safest, but you've only got a few plants. at least give it a shot unless it gets real bad.

and poo tang, usually lack of N starts off with yellowing of bottom leaves. that's probly what you got going on. Make sure you don't feed full strength. it would most likely be too much and hurt your plant. start off light and see how it takes it. As far as flowering, Im in southern newengland and I just started seeing pistils maybe a week ago.

yea it should be just fine, I used MG when I first started. The biggest problem is that its easy to overfeed. its the heroin of fertilizers. too much and your done.

Sweet okay do u recommend using like half strength? Or quarter...It is a high n and k value... think it was something along the lines of 15~8~12...

If they have never had food might be safer at 1/4 for the first feed. after that step it up to half. make sure to water a little first to make sure the ferts spread evenly and don't come on too strong. I like to feed at least an hour before the sun is up.

make sure it gets flushed with water between feedings. if not you will have toxic salt buildup. some plants can take more than others so its hard to say what youll end up at should be able to get up to full strength after a couple weeks. Too much and it will look like your leaf edges are crisping up. If you can order flowering nutes online try maxsea, I used the veg ferts this year and was very happy. organic based so its not all chemicals like MG. Goodluck

I water every othrr day..last watered yesterday.. so would be good if I watrred today using quarter strength then add nute every other feed. So up the nutes every 4 days? Water with nutes miss a day.. then plain water then miss a day then nutes again..
Also I dunno if it will help or not but if put a load of used tea bags in with the soil.. apperently theres alot of good stuff in them?. I dunno how true that is but thougjt cant do any harm.. and I drink alot of tea !!! Haha

Be careful with that dirt (wich looks like a brownie in your pics for some reason) It might not have the best drainage. Too much water will be bad for the roots and end up slowing things down. But you've got the idea, make sure it gets a good watering in between. Flushing out any leftovers and keeping your roots healthy. I like to lift the pot and feel how heavy it is, you don't want it soaked all the time.

And the tea bag thing made me lol for real. Ive never heard of actual tea bags, but people do make "teas" to feed with, out of organic materials. Check out the organic section for that. I try to do mostly organic, but ive never made teas.

Things look good and the yellowing might be N deficiency but the feeding should help that right out. And make sure you don't overfeed. might even want to start every 3rd watering if you do water every other day. (I think its too often IMO, maybe every 3rd would be better) Look up soil amending too. I like to make my own batches sometimes. MG organic, peatmoss, perlite, bonemeal, guanos. cheaper that way.

I thought it would be too late now to mix up my own grow medium and transplant it..
This was mostly a practise run, nothing too serious. And to learn how the plant grows so I'm ready for next year sorting out a proper grow
I am hoping to god this time round it turns out to be a female!
Tbh I'll even be dead happy with just a couple smokes off it.. Not looking for ozs and ozs.. ( I will be next time around though! )
I do have good drainage at the bottom of the pot.. So I think that's all good

It was fed on sunday, watered ( not too much) today and will be next fed on Thursday..

It's now 6 weeks old.. Topped at 4 weeks and since then literally nothing has happened really.. Just a little stretch.. Few extra side branches.. But I haven't got the 2 tops..
So before I watered today I've topped it. properly this time lol.. Hoping I'll get my tops in the next couple days..

Got about 2 weeks left before sun hours going under 14.5 so should start heading into flowering..

Fingers crossed!

Will upload couple pics later from today

Peace :bigjoint::bigjoint::joint:
