I have been on 2 grow forums now and been told it looks like I'm suffering from mag deficiency my question are can it start on older leaves at the top of the plant ,and can it also affect smaller younger leaves I treated with Epsom salt in with my solution today how long until I see recovery I can put pictures up of the younger leaves if that would help

Mag can be sporadic n furious, if it acts like I said its a mag issue. Mag def is a quick issue, quick spreading n quickily fixed

It does look like thats the issue, mine did only effect the older leaves though. I foiler fed with a light epsom salt spray and it was better in a week.

Again I'm a newb so don't for a moment think I know what I'm doing lol. I believe my mag issues were due to high calcium in my water. For that reason I used epsoms alone and not cal/mag.

I had better results foiler feeding but did add to res after they got better.
The reason foiler spraying is better I reakon is due to your plant suffering lockout due to the mag def or ph probs foilage spraying u know he plants gonna get it
Id advise doing this flush plant 20 litres of plain water sit the water in the sun for a day or 2 to neutralize the water ,chlorine ect after u flush the plant no more water till the pot completely drys outs,
Just use a light mag foilage spray for 2 to 3 days light off
After say 5 days pot will completely be dry then just feed your nuts as usual

Buddy, talking from an experienced grower - just haven't been active for a while due to buying a new house. Anyways, all your problems will go away with a little bit of Botnicare Cal-Mag, start off with like just under a 1/4 TEASPOON, not tablespoon, per 1L of water you use. USE IT EVERY WATERING, you SHOULD notice a difference within a few days if not even a week maybe 2 the latest, but I use it every time, from week 3.5-4 (from seed) and onwards untill 3 weeks before I chop, then it is ALL water from there. As for epsoms salts, just on my knowledge - don't know anything about the method . Never heard so can't tell ya anything about that,

PS. I don't ever spray my plants with anything, I feed directly through the soil and let them drain completely before they go back in the holders. Just my 2 cents ofcourse. I have had some MEAN grows, could post pics for you too just for proof, the funniest part - I'm all about CFLs too :) Ill be around to help, I'll try and stay as active as I can for you buddy. I miss helping the newer guys, I've experienced almost ever single problems except for mites ( THANK GOD ) but I do hear lady bugs work wonders... although you will have them flying around for a few months unless you got a sweet evacuation method LOL . :) Postin pics of my girls soon. PM me if you'd like as well brother. The whole forum has changed so I am just getting used to all the new stuff.

PSS. Your PH level is completely fine. Everyone will give you there opinions, just hold it with a basket (old saying) . But yah . I'm here to help if you would like!

Thanks dude, just didn't wanna sound like another dick that was just putting in his 2 cents. And yea dude, you're camera isn't the best but i'm telling you cal-mag should cure it in a few weeks, you'll notice a difference in 24 hours probably. I don't know how long in to flowering you are, if it's too late just deal with in and remember what I had said for next time. But here is the link for the Cal-Mag I use

http://www.botanicare.com/Cal-Magtrade-2-0-0-P48.aspx

Don't follow the directions on the bottle. Use about 1/6th of a teaspoon per 1L of water the first time, and gradually build it up until you can use a quarter-half a teaspoon per liter of water.

You're plants look nice tho :)
