I know what you mean. I don't think everything I hear or see that's out of the ordinary is "paranormal' or "supernatural". I always try to think of everything rational or logical first before calling it "paranormal". I grew up in a house that was built in 1780 and I know what a "settling house" sounds like... Old rattling pipes, etc... BUT I also do know that I've heard old music being played, I saw my grandfather sitting on the edge of my bed when I was 11... He died in my house 3 months before I was born. Needless to say at the time I didn't know WHO the hell I saw and I was freaked out. Not until years later when my grandmother showed me an old black and white photo from the late 30's did I finally know WHO I saw that day. My cousin and I both saw my uncle one night 5 months after he died, coming at us on a path in the woods behind their property. (they owned 200 acres at the time and we used to ride ATV's thru the property so there were pretty good paths thru-out). My cousin was playing a stupid prank hiding from me on his ATV with the engine off, in the dark woods. I stopped and turned my engine off to see if I could hear him. I didn't know he was a few feet behind me, he knew I was there but I thought I was alone. After a few minutes I saw something out of the corner of my left eye. I turned and looked and my uncle was coming at me with his arms pumping (thats how fast he was walking, not running but power walking) coming right towards me. He was all in a white light, full body SOLID. Everything on him was WHITE. Like somebody poured flour all over him. It was NUTS. I booked it the hell out of there and almost crashed into my cousin heading back to the house. We were screaming at eachother "DID YOU SEE THAT?!?!?" I have no QUESTION I saw what I saw since my cousin did too. THE EXACT same shit. That's just the surface of the shit I've heard and seen in my life. I know it's only the beginning. So I don't care what ANYONE has to say about the paranormal or ghosts being "fake" or "bullshit". For me to deny what I've seen would be foolish.I would like to believe ghosts are real, but I havent seen anything that made me say wow ghosts are real.
when I moved into my house the people who lived here before me where nuts and thought the house was haunted, they claimed the ghosts would rape them, and that things would just float around the house, or they would see people walking around, they said they had the house blessed by a priest three times, and that they had an old wooden uiji board that they burned on several ocasions and came back
some of my neighbors wtill to this day swear they have seen ghosts in my house, one story I always hear is that they couldnt keep crosses on the walls, and whever they hung a cross on the wall it would fly across the room
Hell yeah I'm all about the string theory - 11 dimensions... Personally I believe that Physics, Science, and The Paranormal are all in ONE. I think if actual Physicists and Scientists came together with Paranormal Investigators there's no telling what could be discovered. It all has to do with one another. I truly believe that deep down. I'm going to try to find a great video on 11 Dimensions/String Theory and post it on here. If you have one please put it on here. What you (or at least your brain) are experiencing is strong magnetic fields which reside in certain areas. These can cause hallucinations & realistic apparitions.

I watched a documentary on this, and they tested 10 individuals in a chamber where they were bombarded with magnetic fields of different frequencies & 8 out of those 10 saw not only an apparition, but that of loved ones which had passed away.
Sorry to piss on your bonfires guys, but if you look at studies showing how complex the human brain really is (which doesn't even show more than the 5% capacity we use) then you will see that it is also playing tricks on you.

I am willing to accept that my brain plays tricks on me. However, that one night in my grandparents's home, when I woke up to someone pounding on the doors and the cigar smoke smell... we have yet to explain everything (and honestly, I hope we never do!). So, at this time I will keep my mind open. Skeptical, but open.
That pic was taken in my Grandmother's house in New York. My grandparents lived there from the early 40's on. It was built in the early to mid 1800's. Thanks for the comment on it!
