a nealthy plant will produce much better than a plant that gets burned or nute lockout from these silly feeding schedules. A good soil, ammended with lime and fed Jacks, done, or go organic and you will need to build and cook the soil, great way to go but you need to plan 5-6 weeks ahead to go that route

Dont fall for all of the so called high P/K bloom boosters. A green, healthy plant until harvest is the key to success. FF Grow Big from start to finish is the way too go. Even better Dyna Grow Foliage Pro start to finish. Its much more complete than the FF nutes. And cheaper. Most likely your plants will soon begin to become N deficient using Tiger Bloom.

Using the FF soils and nutes imo are pretty much no brainers....I use the soil to nourish the plants 1st 4 -6 wks then i start the feeding schedule using the whole line. Once you get truckin you'll find out what works best for your pocket book, plant canopy management, growing efficiently and finding the best strains for you. GL!

thanks for yer replies and advice. the indoor grow scene has changed significantly. used to be dirt, perlite and Miracle Grow, LOL!
D'666, when you say " start the feeding schedule using the whole line", do you mean you are using both veg and flower ferts? I grew the produce in a Lowes organic sprout mix till roots showed. i used the FF veg fert from about wk 4 to 8 at very weak applications before changing to 12/12 Now the girls are way into bloomin'! i fert w/ tiger bloom at the schedule on the container for heavy fert every other watering or so. i go by ol' memories and the feel of the weight of the pots. knock on wood that i have not done too much
thanks again for the brain stuff

glad I gave such shit advice, il give better advice this time, I promise, you need to spend a bunch of money on a super expensive dirt and nutes but you have to buy the entire line because they are much better than the simple salts they are made from because growing is way more complicated than you think. Thats good advice, theres no way a complete salt could compete with these sophisticated grow companies like foxfarms

for anyone looking for actual advice, do a little research about what a fruiting plants actual nutritional requirements are, im talking legit botanical studies and not mmj studies funded by FF, AN, DG, etc, and then compare it to what your nute line offers, im guessing there is a conciderable contradiction between the 2. Plants havent evolved much in a decade or 2 so the dumb stuff thats been around for 20-30 years may be better than the "new" $tuff that$ been around for 10, and perhaps even much cheaper

An NPK of 2-8-5 isn't so bad for Tiger (as long as your not adding any more NPK value supplements).
Still, if you do get yellowing from the bottom fan/stem leaves and it progress's up and out the branching. It's to much P and not an N problem.....Too much P can block K and limit the uptake of Zn. Not good in flower.

Dyna-Gro, grow formula works very well start to finish.....I would run a Silica with that to aid in the regulation of P and for other reasons too. Damned simple way to grow if you want to use synthetics...very cheap in the long run.

Hesi (soil formula) Grow and Bloom works well also.

H&G has to many parts and you always have to up the formula.....It's too damned expensive that way.

Don't care for DM.

Canna and Hesi are Damned good lines,,,,Canna ain't cheap....

lol as you say, I also breed snakes, certain morphs go from $20 all the way to $20,000, did they really change much? Nope, they still eat the exact same food. so. tell me oh wise Jedi master, what nutrient makes weed more potent? Il help if you need me to. Potency comes from healthy plants and breeding, not a nute line.

jbone, did not ignore your post, just felt it did not apply to the question that i asked. it would seem apparent to me
( and maybe not all others, since the medium was not specifically stated) that i was using a retail, available growth medium that required applied ferts. this is not my first rodeo. my first grows indoors were over 10 years ago. if my medium was constructed like what you describe, i would not need supplemental ferts. my bad if iandi did not spell it out.
the green things that we are discussing does NOT produce fruit, it produces seeds which are not the same ,and w/o pollination, it only has flowers, which is what most of us are looking for... not the seeds (fruit)

D'666, have to agree... "WAY better now" than 25+ years ago. ;-}

yep, marijuana is not a fruiting plant and marijuanas npk requirements are way more demanding than they were 25 years ago, sounds good

because purple haze from jizz mouth saloon is the same as a legit clone only purple haze, or like nirvanas white widow is the same as mr nices black widow, these nutes have pushed weed to the next level. its not like names mean nothing and breeding did shit, fox farms is the reason for headband, train wreck, white russian, and blueberry. smart people had bothing to do with that shit. lol, stupid people who think plants dont feed by names are dumb
