  • deterring tyrannical government
  • repelling invasion;
facilitating a natural right or self defense.

I'm just stating the results of the experiment. I have a computer at home, but still surf the internet at work occasionally.

I think it's more of a culture problem. Too many people don't "give a fuck" about others beliefs or about others period this forum shows that when someone disagrees with someone it always blows up. The American culture has glorified acts of violence through tv and video games. I'm 23 I grew up in this culture. I thought it was cool at the time now I see these games as pointless. But they are regulated the problem with that is someone is buying these games etc. I own fire arms of my own. I do believe gun laws need to be stricter. But I also don't believe we need to do away with the second amendment. We wouldn't be here with out the men who made those amendments. who would be viewed as extremists today which I think is kind of funny because in America being an extremist is like being a terrorist lol

I am obviously a gun owner. I'm definitely conservative, but not republican. My feeling is that it is a little late to ban guns in America- we saw gun and ammo sales soar/skyrocket once Newtown happened. Shit, you couldn't find ammo anywhere, people were stockpiling that shit!

I think i's insane to think that anyone needs an AR-15 though, or any weapon that is an assault weapon for personal use. Handguns, rifles, shotguns, etc. are a lot different than an assault rifle.

People judge the South, but in my experience everyone I know including myself has had to pass the background check to purchase a weapon. I'm sure there are loopholes, but with criminals there will always be loopholes- if they want a gun they're going to get a fucking gun.

Anyway, I love this country. It's having this as one of our rights that adds to the appeal. People speak of the pussification of America, and in the same sentence they cry about guns. Seems like the crybabies are the very reason this country has become such a big tampon. They want handouts from the gov't, don't want to work their asses off to get something in life, they just want it for free. It's ruining the fabric of our youth- they're entitled and don't work for shit. The American dream of "work your ass off and anything can be yours" It's disintegrating and becoming "the government is here for you. There's a program somewhere to get you money so you shouldn't have to work for it." I have earned everything I have, and I'm proud of it too. Fuck handouts. Man up, be strong, be proud. Fight adversity, and if people want to fuck with you, don't run from it, open your door- and let them come and face the music. And the music should be a fist, not a hug. Fuck 'em.

All this gun talk made me drive to the sporting goods store and get me some ammo!! Check it out, gun lovers:
