Doc's Grow. A little bit of everything XD

Went ahead and transplanted everything today into air pruning pots. I've never used them before, but I've had quite a few people tell me it will increase my yield. I definitely think it might because I always have a hollow spot in my root ball. I used a 30/30/30 mix this time of Happy Frog, FFOF, and perlite. Hoping using happy farm in there can cover whatever it is that FFOF is always missing. I know my light is high, but I just didn't feel like putting the other one up today. Still reading 700 lumens/sqft at the outer edges, so I'm not too concerned for a day or two. The magical took care of that struggling BOG. She's back to normal =D

Growing some AK48 myself, going to have to keep up with each other on info.

I don't if any of mine look that indica dom though. i'll have to look again in the morning. They are younger then yours so it's still early.

Thanks Tim! It has come a long way, that's for sure. Last year about this time I had 3 plants stuffed into a 2.5x4.5 closet with a 600! I try to do a minimum of 3 upgrades per grow to keep things moving in the right direction. This time was fan, a third 600, and the smart pots. I was going to get a bunch of expensive nutes, but I'm going to run another organic to see if I can't get my gram a kilowatt close to the non organic runs.

Got 5 lbs of butter going for Bonnaroo. Hope it doesn't disappoint anyone!!! I have some sick new recipes that should make everyone happyyyyyyyyy!!!

I completely understand. I started about 2.5 years ago in a 2x4 tent. If ya check my thread you'll see what I grew up to. That sounds great what your doing. I'll definitely keep my eye on it.

Just opened the tent for the first time today. All girls are loving their new homes! The bubblegum doesn't look super perky, but she doesn't look like she's taking the transplant too terribly either. I definitely topped that Delahaze before it had enough nodes, you guys were right. It's been 3 days I believe and she hasn't started growing new tops yet =( Her root system wasn't as developed as the others either though being that she is younger.
Anyone know about what lumen/sq.ft is high enough to avoid stretch? If possible I actually want to order the digital 600 today and just wait for that so I don't have to rearrange twice.

Yeah, that sure doesn't look like an AK to me (although she's nice & healthy looking .. just saying. IDK though, its hard to say really. Its more then likely just has a wider range of phenos. Im getting ready to start making some suckers myself.. Got some GRADE A BHO headed my way. cant wait! Hopefully it will make my appetite come back.. Ive already had to start making extra holes in the belt.. not good... I need the munchies.. haha

Which pheno do you like more? Looks like the white will have tighter buds. I really like the way it looks.
Doesn't look like AK to me either. That seed was white and wouldn't come up on its own so I dug her up and replanted more shallow. Now that she's growing lopsided nodes I'm pretty sure she's going to end up a dud or herm on me. I really want to get into the hard candies too, but the oil is just expensive to make. Just found a guy in town with g's for $50 but my bho quality really surpasses his for some reason

I hear that.. I like the purple pheno myself. I cant say I have tried the white pheno yet, so thats my early judgement of the two. Stew made the Marie's Sapphire in memory of my Mother we lost to cancer last year. He ended up with the white pheno, where I ended up with the purple. He said the white smells like her Mother allot if I recall correctly. The purple puts me in mind of a really strong "Afghany" strain. Even though Afghan wasn't in the mix. lol I made sure to box her in, & made sure to spray & collect me the rest of the "fem" pollen nanners b4 taking her. Got those dried now & going to make into a dust so I can easily load onto my paint brush & hit back any of the new MS I run. I would like to take the (purple pheno) fem pollen & dust it with a white pheno.. that ort to be really interesting. I would like to see if it would add in a little more of the trich production that the white seems to have more of, along with the tighter nodes. Which dont get me wrong. The purple has tight nodes, just not as tight as the white..

On your stretch issue, Ive found when I use my CMH I don't see all that much. Also, if you keep your ladies nice & compact ( I re bury) mine allot. and then lower my lights, and don't run into any, if so very minimal stretch during flower. Of course I feel its also strain related to. Some strains are just more prone to stretch then others bro.

Seeds can store for a very long time as long as they aren't exposed to light. The only times I've hermed have been due to weak genetics or lollipopping, but my elec company usually comes out even in hurricanes to turn it back on. Never been off more than 3 hours! Clone that reaper before you go 12/12 light schedule so you don't lose the genetics if they turn out good!!!

I'm trying trying to bush her out before I flower. Unlike most clone growers I like my girl at least 4 ft tall then I beat that bitch till she's 2 ft tall then I give her a week to recover. Then the poor girl is forced to sleep 24 full hours then 14/10 till she buds out then I flip it.

Yeah yeah sound weird. But what works for me works so I'm good

I have a buddy that grows only white widow. And I see it's supposed to be one of best strains. But I will say I've smoked his shit for a year. And will say. There is better. Hell my mystery strain was is more potent n euphoric. And like a CRACK hit. It's instantaneous rush to your cranium with your first first inhale

See I grow for NIKE LMAO Strange thing is my crystals didn't look near as good as a lot even my buddies white widow but this shit here i dunno knocked me on my ass.. ITS like well after you smoke if you sit your done if your up walking bike riding your good. but do not close your eyes cuz your a goner Not bad for first grow harvest cure

The first cool always looks like you have so much more than after you purify it =( I actually started with 4 lbs of butter. The final is usually over half what you start with. Without some kind of press for the green after there is just so much you can get out with a cheese cloth.
A few brown dots left on top so I'm going to purify it again. The more brown you get out of your butter, then cleaner the taste and you of course have higher potency.
Side view. I should just be able to lift the butter block and scrape any remaining brown off the bottom before melting it down again.

Anyone have any awesome treat recipes you would be willing to give up? So far I'm doing brownies (of course), apple jack treats (with a secret ingredient I will reveal for a recipe trade ), and fruity pebble treats for Roo. I'm also considering doing thc apple pies made to order. Think they would be a hit? What do you think a fair price would be? $20-$30?
