nobody buy from these guys yet?
They aren't shipping yet but they're pre registering, I called and spoke to someone there recently to see. Most of the guys that were licensed early and didn't buy off the street like Tweed and stuff are still growing, more people will start shipping in July and Aug

You won't receive anything from them unless you're prepared to wait until early Sept. for it to be at your door. I spoke to them also.

Had a great time busting the balls of any LP I could call yesterday and told them they geared their pricing towards the rich, not the sick and was I directed to HC several times. They weren't prepared for the shit I was asking them. Try it. Fun stuff putting them on the spot.

Also called Mettrum and told them their weed was shit and got 1/2 a oz for free. Step up!

Half a bag free? Did that come with irradiation at no extra charge? They might as well give that shit away, I haven't seen much worth paying for from the MMPR yet.

Naw. no nuked shit, just shit. Free is free!

I find the Red #3 better than nadda so, I'll take 1/2 an oz. any day. Canna farms end of month. Wouldn't mind seeing one, just one pic/comment from anyone who's got. Anyone?

I stopped taking them 6 months ago.
My point is, who has the right to say what is and isn't an acceptable condition to be treated with medical marijuana?
It's a very slippery slope folks.
What was wrong with it being the drug of last resort? Didn't that kind of control it to some degree? Now it's like a free for all and that is the slippery slope.

I don't necessarily think it should be a last resort treatment. In many cases it should be the first line treatment and/or defense. Once more "science" is done and the ignorance dies off I think we'll see more and more younger and/or open minded doctors looking at it as a viable medicine.

Personally, I feel that it is the addictive narcotics with awful side effects that should be the last resort, but that's just me. Every citizen should have the right to address their own health as they see fit.

Still can't believe the rip-off prices these so called "medical" dispensaries are charging patients. Reminds me of Big Pharm. That's probably where they got the idea, but the problem is, dispenasaries do no R&D at all.

Are you talking about the LPs (Licensed Producers) or the dispensaries and the Compassion Clubs? Both seem to charge as much as the market will allow. One of the LPs is launching a clinical trial, there are some LPs doing R&D. I am not aware of the dispensaries or Compassion Clubs doing any R&D. Just not sure who you are referring to.

LCS is standardizing most of their prices at $5 / gram. I don't think they have anything over $7/gram now.
I like the direction they're going.

You think Pete had a sudden charitable epiphany of some sort or he was losing market share and had to lower his prices?
My theory is leaning more towards the charitable side. I think it had alot to do with just standardizing prices. You shouldn't have to pay more just because your ailments require a more expensive strain.

I don't have any theories on the matter, just historical facts.
LCS offering concentrates might be an issue in their longevity. London is notoriously conservative.
I can agree with that. I think they'll figure out a way to survive. They've never really been all about the money like I have heard TCC is.

He did leave his cards on some booth tables at Champs, $3.50-$7 /g
Uh...ok. I don't agree with you, but I will leave it at that.

Ok, I shouldn't use the word "never". I don't believe at this point in time their primary focus is financially driven.
In my brief knowledge of them, they are very patient-centric and actually care about quality product at a fair price.
Even Hippy recommended them not that long ago.

I agree with both of these statements. I was simply offering a means of ensuring that people that need it get it...not just the guy with a sore thumb. I know all to well about how fucked up narcotics are. I wish I never would have used morphine. I'm now stuck going through withdrawal everyday and it may never end apparently. 16 years at increasing doses was 151/2 years too long. Amazing how clear things become when the opioid haze clears. I would say that I lost about 12 years...couldn't really tell ya what was going on. My entire perspective on life has changed the less of this shit I have to take.

Not to be sarcastic but I clearly stated dispensaries.

Yes you did, my bad. Looking at it again I don't know why I thought you might have been thinking LP vs dispensary.
I'm not aware of any dispensaries other than in BC, here in SW Ont the CCs have lowered their prices recently.

Plus they offer sweet leaf and outdoor at better prices. They also sell "roll yer own" at a low end cost. I've never seen these items but think it's good they have something for everyone's budget. Some folks are really quite poor and have little money. Maybe those items make it possible to have some relief. I've seen some folks there that looked pretty down on their luck. $40 dollars an ounce is pretty good if you need to stretch things far.
