Kind of a weak strawman there. The draft was law of the land at the time and had been for decades. The requirement for males to register with selective service within 30 days of 18th B-day is still law. There were quite a few that did enlist prior to being drafted, the rest of the needed bodies were drafted, myself included. I couldn't quite build up the righteous indignation that my father did for his war, mainly because we weren't attacked. I didn't dodge, which you damn, and seem to damn those who were drafted. Guess us old twats just can't do anything right, huh? BTW, what does Ted Nugent have to do with anything?
