Anyone treat powdery white mildew with a Baking Soda spray?

Friend of mine is about to fight this mildew and we've read about using baking soda but not clear on how much soda to water mixture....?..... Do you think that this will have an effect on the final smoke? The products that sell in nurseries all say not to spray on the fruit it self to be eaten. So what about a bud flowering????? Don't want to be the reason to send my buddy to the ER......

Good idea, thanks MrSunShine. and (no) I don't have any pics. That would be a good idea as well, but my buddy is a little up tight about pics on here.....?......But we'll start the pm idea cause that makes good sense but what about cleaning it off right now?

Is it everywhere or in a few select locations? Is it on the leaves or buds ?pm sucks maybe mix some peroxide in with that soda and water... check your temps and humidity... i wouldnt smoke pm it can really fuck you up ....

Start with fixing your environmental issues. Too humid likely. Perhaps a lack of air circulation.

Stay between 45 and 55 %. Dont let ventilation quit when lights are off unless you have a dehumidifier.

systhane or eagle works in 1 or 2 applications
you should be able to find something suitable that contains (myclobutanil) for use on edibles
in regular garden stores

i would not bother with baking soda myself

The home remedies of baking soda or milk work by raising pH on surfaces. A sulphur vaporizer does this without adding moisture and achieves better coverage.

3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Safe. Cheap. Effective.

Im old school though, a drop of lavendar oil or garlic oil can also head it off.

I've tried milk, neem, greencure to no avail... Getting the humidity in check worked like a charm. Fans won't cut it alone.
