Ahh ok. I've just been watering a good width around the plant since transplant. Hope it didn't affect it too much. Ill def wait until it needs watering then I'll dump another good amount in.Just make sure u don't over water. Check the weight of the pot, when ur ready to water I'd do a semi flush if u have good drainage. Water the entire pot.
I think you could be watering too much as well, just a thought... I always wait until the soil dries out a bit before I water...Just make sure u don't over water. Check the weight of the pot, when ur ready to water I'd do a semi flush if u have good drainage. Water the entire pot.
I usually wait until it's pretty dry, but with all this nute burn talk I thought I would give it a nice watering with just RO, even though I had watered the previous day, think this will affect it much?I think you could be watering too much as well, just a thought... I have the flaps of the tent open at all times with good air flow coming thru. I also have a small oscillating fan in their. Should I not go with any Cal mag plus yet either? And thanks for the input!hey buddy, don't flush. just keep giving her plain water, no nutes. water her till some comes out the bottom and wait till the pot it light and nearly bone dry before watering again. even if it is a few days. the fox farm soil does have everything the plant should require for at least a month in that size pot. I think it as enough to reach mid flower especially in a big pot such as yours.
do you have ventilation and a small oscillating fan in your tent?
I have some northern lights autos on the wayalso why not throw a plan B in there since you have the light and space?
Cool, thanks for your input. I read that my PH tester isn't very reliable when using RO water. Isn't enough in the water to trigger the solution. I'll stick with that for now lol. Also I have those north light auto fems on the way. I read to avoid transplant so would it be bad to start off in ffof agagain? Should be here by the end of the week.i would say give it at least a week of plain water before stressing anything. your new growth looks like it is happy and should be fine. i just started using the ffof soil just a few months ago the first time i used it i put seedlings straight into 100% ffof and they burnt pretty badly untill they grew up some. maybe 2-3 weeks. the 2nd and current grow i used half new ffof and half used and had only a tiny spot on a couple plants. then when they were about one month old i transplanted to 100% ffof in bigger pots and they are fine, lush and green.
your new growth looks good thats why i think they will will just grow out of it and already are doing so. i would leave the leaves on until you have some more growth it may slow it down to cut them off. maybe someone else can comment better on why your PH run off is low? my guess is as long as your new growth keeps coming green, healthy and does not stop growing things should be fine.
