I picked the Critical Kush because it grows so vigorously like this one is doing. I like the tight node spacing, too. And the description of this strain where I buy seeds says that the CBD level is higher than LSD's. I grew Critical Kush last time, but it didn't turn out too strong, I think because my fluorescent lights were getting old and dim, along with a Cal/Mag deficiency that I didn't know about until now. So I wanted to give it another try. I think it's gonna turn out much better this time! So far so good.
 
lol mixed searches but anyhow i will follow still as i myself am growing the critical and want to see a comparison with led and hydro
 
Subscribed dude! Looks great. I am looking at the A51 190 for my first grow in a few months. How loud is the fan? I need super stealth!

Love that picture in your tent of the whole rig. Wires and fans and tubs. All with a purpose, but some serious mad scientist love going on there!

The fans are VERY quiet. You can hear them if you listen for them, but they're much quieter than the airstone in my res or the air pump.

Yeah, I gotta drill a bunch of holes in the PVC pipes to thread the string through, but it's below zero outside and I'm not looking forward to working in my garage! But you're right. BRRRRRRRRR!

Yeah, it's kind of a snake pit of electrical cords in there I guess. But all that shit is necessary, the air pump, water pump, fans and lights. I'll try to simplify the wiring as I improve things.
 
Just a quick photo update today:

Added Advanced Nutrients nutes at about full strength last evening. tds is 1512 ppm.
In 17 liters of water:

  • 65 ml Sensi Bloom A & B (each)
  • 34 ml B-52
  • 34 ml Big Bud
  • 17 ml AN Cal/Mag Bloom

Adjusted pH up last night, currently at 6.06. It usually drops a lot each day as this plant feeds.

Got the screen made, just need to put it on and tuck some branches under it now. I know I'm late with this. Had some unexpected distractions this weekend, including a bad cold snap here and my furnace stopped working this morning! I'll trim off the lowest fan leaves, too. Thanks for the advice, Mr Dawg. Some of them look sickly now anyway. You're talking about the lowest fan leaves that are hanging down, right?

Yeah, I thought that the plant used the older fan leaves for food, so I'm not too worried about them, PSUAGRO. Both you guys are smart, so I value your comments.

I'll trim a few of the lowest ones off so that I can see inside at the bottom. Then I can prune off any little tops that form inside there easier. I definitely want to get rid of those, since they never amount to much and they just drain energy from the plant.
