That's a serious downer. Water and electricity.....shudder......my worst phobia. Fair play on getting the sparkie in though. I wired an MCB in my first grow shed. Thought I was great. Turns out I had wired it all from the cooker circuit instead of the socket line. Not sure about the physic's of it all but basically I think it meant that my jumpers couldnt even "see" the phase of the power going through so they never would have tripped. Lucky escape man.

Shame about the 2 ceilings. Didnt you say you were going to be doing fuck all kitchen renovations this time? Guess you werent touching wood at the time.

hahahahahah got fucked again on the kitchen hahahahaha.... yeah the wireing of them bad boys is just something i wouldn`t dare touch, wireing a socket of another as you i would do no hasstle, but the major components need a pro, better safe than sorry there, and i`ve had the same guy wire the shed last year to its own rcd, so never trip with the house as its own stand alone loop, also if that goes it won`t affect the house...

the water in the conduit was scary tho, shows the state of the place is in, its ok looks wise but its a 1950`s house at the end of the day so theres lots to catch up on just yet, plastering flooring the works and its going to take years to get it how i want, just like the last place hahahahaha....

I am just out of a council house from early 60's. All that single core brittle wiring and no earth wire, sockets concreted into the wall and plumbing that disappears into the ground and no one can find where it reappears. It had character though. And real nice plastering and old school touches and attention to detail on the outside.

But it was tiny and only one bathroom. Kids love the new place and that's pretty much all that matters.

@ghostdogalpha: yeah you can run auto's with any light regiment but I would save on electricity and do 12/12 since that is what nature does. The one auto I have done so far was Kannabia's BCN Diesel Auto and with (I know I have said this) ruderalis it is hard to kill. I would keep up with the lucas if you are using it can't remember it is cheap and works great. I think your ladies are ready for some nutes. Can you get General Hydroponics nutes? you only need flora micro and flora bloom. GH Nutes are cheap to boot.

The BCN I grew took just as long as fems but it showed the white hairs first and after topping her she blew up like crazy and yielded around 4oz, I had her in bloom for about 8 weeks. I don't think you will have much of problem with an auto, good choice to run an auto first to get your skills down.

this is a good site that breaks down the lucas method and it works in soil as well.

This site is good as well:

Your ladies look good all in all. Remember be patient and you will be rewarded with all the love and hard work you have put into the lovely lady!

Oh and AE is a soil guru, I'm the hydro guy if you decide to switch to that just hit me up and I will tell you anything you need to know.

no chance they could recover md? been dealing with cold here too and mine tho from seed have begun to really get over the cold, there still a bit slow either as there a haze or the bloody cold but there getting there....
Will shall see if they recover but I don't think so but as the mothers get bigger we will take more clones off of them.

Colorado was all over the news since Jan 1st was the first official day for the state to sale recreational MJ to people 21 and over. If you are a CO resident you can buy an OZ and if you are from another state you can only get a 1/4oz and you are "not" suppose to take it out of state, yeah right. You can go to 10 different places and buy a 1/4oz at each if you want and in Washington State anybody over 21 can buy an oz even if you are not a washington resident.

Cheers for the heads up @md. Yeah....being patient is the hardest part. Will go through the 2 links tomor and work out what I need.

The Colorado story was all over the news here. Even made it onto the national broadcaster. From this side of the pond, and this is just my opinion, the change in the laws seem to have been very well thought out to try to keep everyone happy. Have no idea how it will turn out on the ground. There are reall strong parallel with the legalisation of gambling over there. Kind of like get the mafia/criminality out of the business and get the government and their tax men in. I like the way it is being sold as a big money maker for local government.

It will be a generation or two before it happens over here, unless the UK moves first of course.

I have a ton of relatives from me Da's side in CO. Maybe a family reunion is in order!!

thanks md, but amature at best hahahha... as the guys were saying that colarado thing made the news here, i just heard it on the radio headlines so i took it as more the responce to the price of it, like they were surprised cannabis would draw so much money, and that there was so much need/want for it... could be way off tho, didn`t catch the broadcast...

as for patience, my own is being tested at the minute, my plants altough just responding to there enviroment are takeing forever, you know that feeling when you check in on them are there of a decent size and alls going well, ou got some ready to come down, maybe a couple jst behind them and all, well i`m so far away from that right now..hahahaha.... just doesn`t feel like a grow yet, still at the akward 10 inch phase were there makeing up there mind to get taller or bushier....

Morning R3. Yeah...ya gotta love them charts man. I allways feel I should be wearing a white lab coat lol. I really have to get a proper meter. I like the Hanna but will probably go with the Milwaukee model suggested by md.

Hey Jay. Welcome on board dude. You are on a good start doing research and getting on this forum. This site is full of good tips and advice. I really wish I had of got here sooner. Not taking any chances by telling mates is golden.

The first rule of cannabis club is that there are only tomato growing clubs.

Yeah ph always makes me nervous. Totally fucked up a deadly plant once with nute lockout. I think I have a bit more leeway than you as soil can act as a buffer but only for so long.
