wtf is purging multiple times

yo so i keep hearing clubs say they vac pumped their concentrate multiple times,
for example

(All of our wax-based concentrates are purged in a vacuum oven a minimum of three times)
wtf does this even mean,
after stabilizing my concentrate with air flow/warm water, i vac pump it for 12-24 hours, depending on quantity, constant heat constant pressure, is there somthing im missing? am i supposed to pump it more?

Sounds like a sales pitch to me...but maybe they mean they flip/mix/flatten and revac 3 times?

it means they pulled a vac 3 times, probably the worst definition of purge whipped into a deceptive slogan i ever herd. How would this one sound..... All your oil is hand processed from start to finish.... could mean no gloves!

If you vacuum in a thin film and inflate and deflate the muffin repeatedly, as well as flip it regularly, it speeds up purging, sooooo could be one explanation.

You would think if they just purged it right the first time they would save some time oO

There is no way they are vaccing then paying for testing just to throw it back in the vac chamber. That would drive prices too high. sales pitch all the way.
