wonky leaves - any obvious issues?

Greetings, all. Newbie to hydroponics, but not growing.

System
Indoor, ebb&flow
watering: 3x/day
Medium: Hydroton clay pebbles
Stage: early veg - 2 weeks from planted clones
Nutes: GH Micro/Flora & Rapid start
Water: using tap @ 180ppm.
6 plants

Brief history
4 days in, they all started rapid veg. Healthy leaves, thickening stalks, uniform color
7 days in... a few recently sprouted leaves looked wonky. (see photos)
10 days in, wonky leaves started to appear on other plants
New leaves appear to have more texture than last week, and lack smooth surface as they grow. rippled, with slightly lighter color on ridges. no brown edges.
no bugs

still lots of new leaves and growth.

I searched and searched, but could not find similar images.

Possible considerations:
Lights: lowered (LED) lights about day 7 (started 2' from top) to about 10in from top (per mfg). Raising daily to maintain height, plus added a few extra inches, just in case. They do not appear light burned, but I can't be sure.
nutes: wk 1 started with low dose - 300ppm, but it climbed to 500ppm over 7 days. Also drop from 35 gals in res to 27. (now covered and much less evap). Started week 2 with 600ppm ( they seemed to have stablized and were happy with nutes. only sign of browning tips was in photo below... none on any other plants, so didn't suspect nute burn). has grown slightly to 640ppm with only 3 gal evaporation.
PH: PH climbs after each feeding, maintained between 5.5 - 6.5.

No other (re)actions taken, but wanted to see if there was any obvious issues.

Nute refresh today, and considering PPM reduction to 500.. again, just in case.

Thanks!!!
