wind burn????

i heard someone talking about wind burn, is it true and what causes it if so??
any help and explanation would be much appreciated

I guess that is possible, I have never heard of wind burn on a plant although the wind can cause a more rapid water evaporation in soil. The only suggestion I could reasonably make at this point would be to ensure that your plant has plenty of moisture so that it doesn't over dry in the wind. Good Luck
