Partial quote is cited as its rebuttal should have been included in my response.

But I hate substantive post-edits.

If it's so easy, it should be a piece of cake to prove.

So prove it already.
i only said it was 'very possible'.

but i like a challenge.

since june 2009, texas has added a little over a quarter million jobs: http://dallasfed.org/research/update-reg/2011/1105.cfm

now, i am unable to find any stats for how many minimum wage jobs were added during the same time period. but we know that 330,000 were added from 2007-2010. about 110,000 a year.

so you added 265,000 new jobs in two years, about 132,500 per year. you also average about 110,000 minimum wage jobs during a partially overlapping timeframe.

110/132 > 50%

like i said, lacking perfectly overlapping statistics, we can't know for sure. but if i were a magic eight-ball, i would say "all signs point to yes"

At this stage, I am pulling for ANY candidate whose last name is not Obama.

Which means the political calculus, and the law of averages, is on my side.

But I do NOT feel bad for you. :-P

that thing also thought i played golf today and did not masturbate.

no rebuttal to my argument? it is very likely londonfog had it right when he said "most".
That was my rebuttal.

Admittedly overlapping statistics.

Nothing firm.

Just a guess.

Don't make me break out out a Lebowski quote.

I like it better when we're troll-bashin'.

To me the question is not will you vote for Obama, or a repubican it's Do you realize, that at the top, both parties are nothing more than 2 sides of the same dirty coin? Damned few like RP are the exceptions, but the puppet masters will never let them win. If you haven't figured it out candidate selection and elections are fixed.

You don't in unless you agree in advance to do the devil's bidding. They are not above eliminating those who step out of line. Now that said, we must vote for like-minded people such as RP in order to raise the consciousness in the ethers that we are taking our power back. That alone has more power than you might imagine.

Yeah, I came to that realization a couple years ago. Sure, we've known all our lives that politician is a dirty word, but it has never been this bad. Really. No matter what they say to get elected, the result is the same. People making huge decisions which are not in the best interests of most of us. They all lie. Republicans are somewhat worse though, imo. That is not to say most dems are worthy of their offices either though. They aren't.
