Will a 250 watt cfl and 150 watt hps question

Will the 250 watt cfl produce as much heat as a 150 watt hps? The hps light I was looking at was the

FLORALUX 150w HPS Mini Grow Light. And the dimensions of the cab are 25-3/4" L x 19" W x 35-3/4" H

NO, the HPS will give off more heat, just the hps ballist alone, will give off more heat.

So if I get one with the a separate ballast then that would be ok for my grow? Cause I'm just worried about my temps, but I do have a pretty strong fan for a smaller cab.

yeah id say so, small hps wont give off much heat..............even a 250 is pretty tame.....

yeap i was runing a 400watt HPS in a 2"x1.5" cupboard and temp's was fine at 25c, so go for it...

Awesome thanks guys for your input! I think I'm gonna go with a 250 watt hps, so I can have both Mh and Hps, all in one.
