Which tape sticks to grow tents?

What the hell happened to your tent? I've had mine for over 5 years and it has plenty of duct tape on it but only in about 5 places. Damnit son. I say, damnit son, take it easy on that thing 
. I use Gorilla glue brand duct tape and it peels back after awhile but I just keep pushing it back on with a straight edge. It does the job.
Edit: It's the outdoor stuff, I don't know if that makes a difference but it sticks to just about everything.

Those holes are a nonissue
They make some great seamstress tape but you don’t need it

Plus, if the tent is a dark room it’s like a cheap planetarium when the lights are on.

my vivosun tent came with a tiny roll of metallic tape, not sure what type it is though.

Sounddown has a very sticky mylar tape. Made for boat engine rooms, very heat and moisture resistant.
Can be found on amazon.

If Gorilla Tape doesn’t stick then I don’t know what will. Why did you poke 500 holes in your tent though? LOL

I use aluminum tape. It’s thin, reflective, and stickier that two fly’s fucken on a yellow trap.
I’ve even applied this over tape to block light leaks. Works great.

Just attaching a clip on hurricane fan in a corner (that tiny bit of pressure) made the corner seems start to rip & show light too lol, its a real 4x4 winner for $179 retail, lemme tell ya. In fact, don't let me get started about the brand, @LeastExpectedGrower will get on my case hahaha

I wish the cheap ass company I got mine from 5 years ago was still in business. I paid 99 bucks for it and even though it has a couple light leaks the frame is rock solid, the zipper is butter smooth and the thing has taken some real abuse. I'd buy another one in a second. Looking at the reviews on the 150-300 dollar ones I've been looking at lately, they seem way less better made unfortunately. Viparspectra was the company that made my old one.

Did you try to patch it on the inside with the tape? At least you may be able to kill the light leak for now, while you search for an effective way to seal up the edges on the outside.
Another pothead theory I have is with strong flat magnets you can wrap dark fabric around the entire tent. Minus the door of course.. and use the magnets to clamp the fabric to the tent canvas. Strong enough magnets that will hold the fabric up, but not too heavy that they will slide down. If you have those things handy, it’s worth a shot just to see if the magnets will hold thru the canvas+Mylar+fabric.

If you're patient enough to touch all 300 pinholes, then dots of black fabric paint could possibly work

Go to the hardware store and get some liquid electrical tape. Comes with a little brush built in to the cap to dab it on the holes and should last forever. The Gorilla tape mentioned above is a world better than duct tape and can be torn into strips lengthwise if long, thin strips are needed behind the zipper in places. My little Vivosun tent has cloth strips behind the zippers so not a spot of light anywhere along the zippers.
I used that electrical tape goo to coat the little wires that poke out of the LED light bulbs so I don't get zapped when I invariably bump my arm into them while working on the plants. I hung the bulbs pointing down so it hardened as a blob on the tips. So far no zaps.
