Which clone would you mother?

I have 3 healthy clones from a mother.
This mother and an older sister grew pistils 1 day after going into the flowering tent. This seems to imply to me that the mother has been on the cusp of flowering so that means to me that her clones were on the border as well.

2 of the new clones I topped at 2 weeks, 1 that I didnt top.

The 2 topped clones started growing irregular shaped leaves but the non-topped clone hasn'tso am not sure if it reverted to veg.

Which clone should I keep as the new mother?
- The lanky untopped clone that may already be on the verge of flowering and is lanky like her mother?
- Or would you keep one of the bushy topped ones that appear to have fully reverted to veg?
- Should I top the third and see what happens?

Thoughts?

It's all a matter of space and depends on how many clones you ultimately want to produce out of your mothers. If you had the space it may be sensible to mother the untopped one aswell as one of the ones that have been topped. That way you can compare the results directly and know which is best for next time :)

In my case I am currently starting 4-5 mothers from clones, that way I can get clones when I need without having to entirely strip and stress out a single plant.

Happy growing.
