whats the optimal wattage/plant ratio?

depends on size. 2-4 600 watters would cover it. more if you grow big plants.

One more thing though... is there a type of mylar I can use that will prevent any possible helicopters from detecting anything?
I heard there was a type of mylar that blocks out infrared sensors or something, anyone know what I'm talking about?
