What the hell is this? + detailed pics.....

Ive got a waterfarm on the go, and the lower leaves look like they have a def of some kind, i really hope its a def rather than a fungus, can someone give me an idea...

Temps 26.C air 19.c water
Nutes ec around 1.2

Mag. def I think...add epsom salts.....some use 1/2 tsp per gal. I run waterfarms...I put a half tsp in the rez...so that like 1/2 tsp to 2 1/2 gals....it worked for me. Just heat it up first in a water solution so it disolves well.good luck

I was thinking it was a cal/mag def. Cheers for the advice, Ill go out and find some epsom salts tomorrow

Actually by your picture, referring to my books with pics as well & descripts of deficiences, It looks as though your plant is in need of Manganese, not Magnesium. It says to add moe Mn to your plants & it says if the problem persists necrosis will set in and the leaves may curl but plants do not need manganese to grow to full maturity but a lack of Mn will result in less than average results.

To correct: lower the ph, leach the soil, and add a complete, chelated mirconutrient forumula.

Even within this information you will see the lack magnesium shows sign of leaves yellowing from the outside in, not the inside out like yours is.

Thanks for the info, Ive looked through lots of those pictorial sickness guides and none of them have anything that looks the same as mine, it does look similar to Mn or Mg, I have given them 2 litres of nutrient water @ 900ppm to bump up the levels, the res is now around 650ppm, and it seems to have responded well to it. Shall i cut the damaged leaves off or leave them on? They seem ok for now, I dont want to go chopping the plant around too much.
