but with ro water you need to add calmag and that brings it back up to 400ppm anyway so why not just stick with tap water?Your PH is to low... In soil you should be between 6.2 and 6.8 and if my city water was at 500 ppm I think id but RO water from wal-mart.
i not super worried about it because it is on just one of 12 that are like this, but im trying to gather as much knawlage as i can so next time i know what is causing it and fix it on my own. i guess i'll have to see if it gets worsemy ph in soil has dropped from 6 to 5.4 in the last week
my tap ph is pretty much 7
the ph dropped in mine when the nutes in the soil are washed through it ... mine are all on about 5.4 5.5 ish and they seem fine..
yours dont look too bad though .. it could be a bot of anything... if it gets worse you will have to make changes but it could be a pocket of soil with high nutes or low ph .. i had that once but they grew out of it.
there tough little girls..
shit! that makes sense now. I think a RO system is gonna have to wait until next grow. so whats my options? keep using tap and hope for the best? or buy RO water from an outside source?500 ppm tap water contains a bunch of crap that your plant cant use. my tap is the same. 530 something. and full of chlorine which is poison to your plants
ok thanks for the infotry letting your water sit overnight. this will give the chlorine time to release.
