what do I have growing?

I have five plants under an HPS light. I changed to 12/12 16 days ago. Most are obviously budding, but one is producing clumps of new leaves where the buds should be, and I don't see any sign of either male flowers or white hairs. Any idea what is going on?

You sure its clumps of leaves and not male flowers? ;) Pictures would help man :)

I'll try to get some pictures and put them up. They sure don't look like the pictures of male flowers- they look like miniature bromiliads, maybe twenty leaves coming out at each node

I would move the odd one as far away from the rest of your girls. But in reality it only takes one open male pod to pollenate your whole room so keep a close eye on them

Sounds like we need to see , but the times I had males they did grow differently - I'd post a pic before too much time went by .
