Using incorrect nutrients during flower?

I have been using the botanicare cns17 ripe 1-5-4 for about 3 weeks now. I used the botanicare transition/bloom (2-2-3 I believe) for about two weeks when they stared showing sex. I guess I was supposed to do pretty much the opposite, and use the transition/ bloom for the whole time and the ripening for a couple weeks before flush. Does anyone know if using the 1-5-4 is a good ratio for flowering? It doesn't sound too bad and the plants look healthy although the buds aren't growing quickly. I have no idea what to do. Anything would be much appreciated.

As a base that is OK but it is low in N and may cause issues. PK is low and will need to be bumped like around now to start feeding the bud development or you could run into P issues and smallish buds later, maybe. I use a 5-15-14 base atm.

I am adding botanicares cal mag plus that is 2-0-0 and I am using their hydroplex 0-10-6 for bid growth. Do you think that will be enough NPK? I'm putting 25ml of the base nute per gallon, and only 5ml (1 tsp) of the hydroplex and cal mag plus.

That should be OK. Just listen to the plants if they look good go with that. Week 3 is when they start growing good just watch them.

also 1-5-4 ?

I like a 1-2-3 or even 1-1-3 ratio then later drop it closer to 0-0-1

Too much phosphorus can cause problems even more so with cal/mag and tap water well any non RO`d water seems to have more Cal then anything else in it

Calcium phosphate can build up in the root zone and be a bitch to break down with out the right bennies in your rootzone

If I give extra cal/mag during veg I find I only have to use cal/mag a few times during flower and I use less P than most so I don`t have to worry about it causing a lock out

hell even a 3-2-3 ratio will do till your ready to hammer them with potassium around week 4/6

I believe she missed, the correct numbers are 1-4-5.
I grew with the CNS-17 for years, if you're running RO then I suggest 2ml of cal-mag+ until the 3rd week of flower. In tap I wouldn't use it at all.
My regime was 7ml of CNS-17 at 2-2-3 and 2ml of Hydroplex ( weeks 3-5 of flower ) per gallon. That was it nothing else.

Why such a short stint with the hydroplex?

I haven't ran it for awhile but back then every 5ml would get me around 420 ppm in my RO water so time that by 5 and it buts you in the 2,000ppm.

Because it's a myth that they require large amounts of P. 30-50ppm of P boost is more than enough.
Would I be better off getting the botanicare bloom 2-2-3 nutrient? Or would that cause disruptions? I'm predicting a late October harvest so I have about 2 full months left.
