Trichs on still not where I want them (yet).

I still have 6 plants still outside in Colorado and the trichomes are still not where I want them. I see a lot of amber but that is mostly on the sugar leaves. On the calyces I am still seeing mostly cloudy, several clear and only a very few light amber. The plants are Silver Mountain (Sativa dom), Monkey Berries (50%/50%) and Harlequin (Sativa dom, high CBD). The Harlequin is in ground and is still showing only cloudy with few clear, no amber. Sliver Mountain and Monkey Berries are in 5gal pots and are movable if weather gets too cold at night. Temps at night have been mostly getting down to the low 40's with a few nights down to the mid 30's. We had a couple of nights in the mid 20's. Plants came in those nights and in ground Harlequin was covered.

Here are pictures of the whole plants. The plants are pretty small because I was given some clones and seeds in late July so they got a late start. The in ground Harlequin was standing nice and tall but we had heavy winds last night so now she’s all laying down.

harvest now. they aren't going to grow much in those conditions. but big chance of rot if you keep going. your plants look good for making it this far. harvest these plants now, and start earlier outdoors next season

Normally I grow from clones starting in May but only in pots. I wasn't going to grow this year but then I was given these clones and some seeds to pop to start for a friend who was going to grow them indoors but then he didn't want them. So now I was growing them. I'm used to plants taking until late October and even into November to harvest. I just bring them inside if the nights or days get too cold. But I've never had an in ground plant. That strain was supposed to be a quick finisher but it's still not ready. We are going to have possible snow on Tuesday so I will probably harvest the in ground plant on Monday.
