Transplant again or no?

This is my first grow and things have been going well.
My problem is...when I first popped seeds I did 2 Green Crack and 2 White Cookies. The GC took off but the WC died after putting into soil-less mix.
So after about a week...I popped a couple more WC and got one to seedling stage in Solo Cup.
During this time...I had transplanted my GC into 3 Gallon fabric pots.
But now I'm worried about getting rootbound because they're going to be in veg for probably 6-8 weeks total while they wait for the WC to catch-up so they can all go into flower together (because it's a week or so behind).
I was thinking maybe wait another week or so and transplant the Green Crack into 7 gallon fabric pots so they have lots of space to do their thing while I train them to keep them from getting to tall.
I'm going back and forth...should I transplant again...or just leave them and hope they don't get bound up?
Also...how hard is it to transplant from a fabric pots without trashing the root system?

You give no information as to medium except "soilless". Peat? Coco?

Roots will be okay transplanting from a bag early. If you wait simply plant bag and all into a larger container. A few holes in it help when you do.

Sounds good. They've only been in the 3 gallon for a week or so...so I'll wait for a bit before moving them again. The WC is getting g transplanted in the next couple days. I'll be putting her into a 5 gallon right away instead of worrying about multiple transplants

Well that was pretty much a disaster. The wife and I tried transplanting from the 3g to the 7g fabric pots and getting out of the old pots was not fun. I'll never do it again.
I should have just done like you suggested and cut some holes in the 3 gallon and put it into the new pot. But I'm a cheapskate and wanted to re-use the pot.
We got them in the new pots but the rootball was definitely disturbed so hopefully they'll bounce back from the ordeal because they were growing great up til now.
Oh well...live and learn...

Bet everything ends up okay. Check out grow bags from Ruth's Tree Farm . Cheap and very durable.

Tst2015 you would be correct in the fact that fabric pots are hard to transplant out of. The good news that it's hard to get rootbound in them as the roots are being air pruned.

Many people cut the pots or just plant the whole thing in another pot as the roots will grow through. The only downside is your destroying fabric pots and making them a 1 time use.

There are companies that sell Velcro transplantable fabric pots. They work alright until the Velcro get clogged up. My new favorite transplantable pots are Ez Swap Pots. All the great benefits of fabric pots plus the ability to check roots 24/7 and transplant without any shock or damage to the rootball and plant.

in my opinion I would have waited until the plant was 2-3x bigger before transplanting

I don't use fabric pots but when the root ball is full the plant pulls right out by the stem.

you can cut around the roots with a knife at side of pot to get it unstuck.

also I never saw a rootbound plant. they just need more often watering

I grow 6oz plants in 2.4 gallon pots all the time. they are trained during stretch in 12/12 to be 3'x3'x3' max
