Too Much Space?

Rookie Question'
When Placing a 600w led grow light that is recommended for a 4'X4' footprint area, in the corner of a 8'X8' Grow tent (still only using the 4'X4' footprint for growing and the other 3/4 of the tent to store soil/supplys etc. and part of the area for trimming etc.

Will I sacrifice much light intensity being that the plants are only in close proximity to the reflective material on two sides?

Any other major drawbacks with this idea of using a large tent for a small grow?

It won't be that big a deal. Yeah the two sides without reflective material won't get as much light but the reflected light on the other sides isn't really that intense. Now hanging some side lighting around the plant and moving it in the middle of the tent, that would really boost yields as the sides will grow buds like tops. Of course the plant has to be tall enough to provide at least a few feet of side canopy.
 

Ya im not sure on thickness of material and how much it will baffle sound, im sure it will help some, but if i had to guess, the difference wouldnt be enough to make me want 20 less ft2.

Maybe someone that used both can hopefully chime in with their opinion.
