Too many tops for outdoor?

Is this an excessive amount of colas for an outdoor grow? I've been told this is overkill, but I don't really understand why it could negatively impact yeild. (I've also just fimmed 3-4 of the highest tops on each... so more stems on the way....)
It's outdoor in a very windy environment, I'm not overly worried about airflow..

Is this a trick question? Only thing I'd do is allow some veg time after topping /fimming/lst ECT before flower season (don't know when that is, it's mid winter where I am)

Not a trick question, about a month to flip so they will have plenty of time to recover.
Just had a few negative comments about the amount of cola's for an outdoor, and was hoping for feedback

I’d be focused on your support system further down the road. Do you have a plan in place?
No real plan in place at this moment, I've never grown somewhere so windy before.
the pic is about a week old so the plants are now getting close to 10" above the poly, they seem to be holding up well.
If need be I can build a frame around the canopy, any suggestions or tips?

Green metal fence posts and garden tie is cheap and good for support/training. Stake a square around the plant and use the garden tie to make a fence like structure around the plant

Experiment away. What’s the harm from gaining future insight? Maybe you discover this strain yields 20% higher with your method. Personally though I’d have put out numerous girls, one au natural one topped once twice etc up to what you’ve done and calculated the final results. Learn what that strain performs best at

Looks great, I make sure bottom growth gets cleaned up, don’t want stuff too close to ground( down the line), this will help prevent Powdery mildew and better air flow at base

Any reason you actually need a count ?
Seems like someone might be giving you odd advice
No reason for an official count, I was hoping to get some insight on how to dial in for best quality/quantity
Every grower seems to differ, I just never expected opinions to fluctuate this much

I have the bottom 1/4 trimmed of suckers and small leaves
It's very windy where I grow so I'm not overly worried about airflow, but I will separate them further as they mature

have a look at @doublejj plants and you will quickly come to realize that you are nowhere near having too many tops for outdoor. I'm uncertain what that would even mean... if you have sufficient room for the root system, adequate nutrients and water and enough hours of sun, the only limit is genetics and your ability to care for it.
