Hello everyone
This is my first post but i have been reading on hear for a while. I have learned a ton from the GrowFAQ and reading everything i could from this site, thanks everyone. This is the best forum around, it seems to have a great community. Anyway...

I have done allot of searching on the topic of growing late in the year outdoors and haven't been able to find much. I'm going to be guerrilla growing about 20 plants in fl and am worried that my plants wont have time to get big enough. I was also wondering if there was a special kind of strand that would be good for the shorter grow period and also the blazing July sun. Note I will be growing organic with fox farms soil, and first frost in my area is Dec 3.

Im planning on ordering from bcseedking for a number of reasons mostly because it seems to be the most reliable one in Candida so if you could give some recommendations on strands they carry that would be helpful or someplace else is good too. I know that its mostly preference(Strand and place of purchase) but it docent hurt to ask right? I'm thinking one Mix pack and one BC big Bud(If its good for outdoors). I'm hoping to order really soon, and will start my grow log! Any advice is greatly appreciated Thanks!

growing in florida, you can start in july without having to worry about a shortened grow period. that said, pretty much anything will work, but indicas are great outdoor plants and most are fast growers.

if you must have something tailor-made for a quick grow, check out one of the Lowryder strains. it's hardy, good outdoors, and finishes 9 weeks from seed.

Hey Greenkeeperwilly, I'm basically in the same boat you are, even down to the same seedbank. Although, I am in Ontario, Canada. Could anyone shed some light on "no pun intended" to If I would be ok with the decreasing light cycle I suspect will create a few problems with my grow with a July start.

It looks like every site has a different description for each strain, indoor/outdoor. Is there a reliable place to get specific info. White widow is outdoor on some sites, and indoor on others for example.

It's guerrilla, not gorilla. There are many other strains that would be better outdoors than WW.

You live in Florida, so I think it will work for you since your growing period is a lot longer than for someone like myself up north. Someone up North is gonna need a rooted clone or mature plants already to plant in July. I dont want you to tell me exactly where you live but when does it frost for you in your part of Florida? If you are in North Florida, you need to get them beans going ASAP. If you live in Miami or the keys, you might be able to grow year round.

First frost is different on two different websites ones says 12/3 the other says 12/26, but it seems like its normally jan, sometimes not at all heh. Growing year round would be nice.
