tight buds - how to?

I have seen a big difference between dispesary tight buds and home grown loose buds. At the dispensary the buds are compact, folded inward into tight balls. When I see home grown weed the buds are relaxed and extended, I do not know why this is, perhaps an additive? The fluffy buds take up more space in a bag but same potency per dollar as compressed buds, how do dispenseries do this to their weed?

Well who ever grows it has their growing environment in shape , good temps, good lighting , and nutrients and most likely best of all knowledge of growing

If its in the plants genetics to produce fluffy buds it wont matter what nutes or lights you use.
I have 4 Plants at 8 weeks and even the popcorn buds that are shaded and 4 ft under the cobs are super dense. All OGs ive grown have been the same way

( GENETICS ) nutrients have very little bearing on this . lighting a good hps will have slightly better hardness over a t5 cfl grow also a mh bulb is hard nugs . i get hard nugs from t5 as well but not as tight at hps or mh . i know what your saying your stuff is very loose .. temps my opinion dont play much of a factor in this . i have the temps 83f all the time .. have to play around with genetics to you get the good stuff . strongly suggest trying bomb brand they are hard as a rock what your looking for .

Those are just a few strains that i have grown and have xp with that produce dense buds. Plenty more out there for sure like cherry pies Gg4 and others. Like i said its all about genetics

Airy buds seem to come from weak light + temps too high. Its a combination thing. The odd thing is that if youre temps are high then you need more light (which brings temps higher). I had this prob and have been improving density by having the right amount of light for the temp. People that say 75f is the perfect canopy temp tend to go with 50watts per square foot of hps light. Start there.

Food for thought... Ever notice how dense buds are when growing with co2 supplements? To take advantage of of the added co2 light+temps need to be dialled in just right.
