Okay, after much trial and error, and a shit load of questions to you awesome individuals who seem be a bottomless wealth of info and experience, I have come to, what I believe, for lack of a better analogy, as close to the friggin cigar as I can get, without actually smoking it.
What I'm trying to achieve is as close to perfect as I can pull off, and to maybe clean up and possibly "eliminate" and/or "add" any components, based on some or all of the opinions, suggestions, that I recieve.
I'm running my 1000w hps in a 5×5×8 tent, along with a 2000w bestva led that I bought before I knew any better, (the true wattage of the bestva is only 150w). My temps get hot because of ol' bessy, (1000w) and to try to balance it out, I bought a 6" hurricane fan that runs constantly to vent the heat out of my lamp, (I run it at med with the speed dialer that came with it.) Next to that, i pull air out of both my veg tent and my bloom tent with one 745cfm hurricane badass fan that also constantly runs at about med speed, and it pulls the air outta my tents and vents it outside. I have high c02, 1500ppm range, so to combat this "bullshittery", I have an 8inch booster fan, right above my exhaust vent, bringing fresh, cooler air in from outside. This, in turn also helps with my co2 I noticed, but this 8" booster fan was setup with the soul purpose of bringing the temps down and stabilizing them. The 8 booster fan is hooked up to a temp moniter, plugged into the cooling outlet, and is programmed with a 1° differential or whatever it's called, and its capable of bring the temps down from 84°f to 78° in about 10mins. Also because of the 1° differential, it cause the fan that brings cool air in to kick on every 6mins or so, which helps the co2 levels in my house.(my furnace is broke, so the basement of my house is sealed and we have 2 big propane burners in two parts of the house that keep it warm, but all the co2 rises to the top of the house, and my tent is where all the old air is leaving the upstairs now.) I dont vent the cold air directly into my bloom tent in fear of making it wayyy too cold. I also vent the heat directly from my lamp, back into the bedroom, did I mention I sleep 8ft away from my tents. My second problem is my humidity, which is only roughly 21% on average. I have a small dehumidifire/humidifier combo that my girlfriend bought me, but I wanted to run it by some other humans before I utilized it
Sooo, long story short, is there a better more efficient way i could be doing this, and what can I do about the humidity,.....
It's so dry the trees are bribing my dog to piss on em...
