Federal Judge Strikes Down Texas Voter ID Law

HOUSTON — A federal judge ruled on Monday that the voter-identification law that the Texas Legislature passed in 2011 was enacted with the intent to discriminate against black and Hispanic voters, striking down the law and raising the possibility that the state’s election procedures could be put back under federal oversight.

The finding of intentional discrimination could once again put Texas under federal supervision for years, making it the first state brought back into so-called preclearance since the Supreme Court’s 2013 ruling.

Votes don't matter democrats and republicans work for the same corporations and are owned by the same banks. Big pharma has been working to dominate medical marijuana for years and Obama sucked the shit out of that big pharma cock with Obamacare. Obama also had no intention to legalize weed not even decriminalize he set us up hook line and sinker.

Lol..

as far as i can tell, anti-voter ID people really want undocumented immigrants to vote, who may be less likely to have ID. however, you can still get government ID even as undocumented immigrant (maybe some folks may be scared to do it though). The anti-voter ID folks, they are very racist and claim their intentions is for black people and minorities who somehow are incapable of having an ID, but we know the real reason is undocumented immigrants.
False.

It's a poll tax and Mr Toads wild ride all in one..years ago Florida pulled this shit and everyone had to go to a new Drivers License, you could no longer renew..the only acceptable paper was a birth certificate/SS card combo..they had to be original copies what a fucking pain in the ass for me..had to get birth from NJ and get a new SS card..SS card is free but not birth certificate. Some southerners were born at home and have no record of birth without the combo you're sunk.

1/3 of the male populace of Florida are ineligible to vote due to prior felony. Fact.

They wish to make it as hard to get as possible so you give up.

Edit: I had money and means more than ever..what would this mean to minimum wage worker that has to bus everywhere? Additionally, this coincided for the 2012, rat bastards!

Voter ID laws are unconstitutional. Alright conservative originalists, where in the U.S. Constitution does it say one must have a driver's license or other state-issued ID to vote in elections?

Anyway, the AFL-CIO has a list of the 25 reasons Voter ID laws are unconstitutional: https://aflcio.org/2014/5/9/25-reasons-why-voter-identification-laws-are-unconstitutional-courtesy-wisconsin
It doesn't.. you're supposed to sign your name/make your mark. Rightie will use the argument..but, but old constitution..we need to update.

Can we update 2A?

Another example of do as I say, not as I do..that is so familiar to them.
