I say you should have had insurance, maybe then the hospital would have taken better care of you. Eight staples and serious concussion with no over night stay for observation sounds like a drunk broke joke going to ER. They knew you couldn't and wouldn't pay for any treatment past a band-aid

If alcohol was involved patients are kept until they are sober.

A head trauma with simple laceration can be easily stapled up and taken care of in about ten minutes if the x ray or CT is open. After evaluating for overall impression after receiving treatment if no fractures are found the patient is free to go in their way typically.

If the patient lost consciousness this is a grade 3 and a little scrutiny will be given, grade 2 and lower is almost and instant treat and street.

Patients are strongly advised against driving and the patient might be asked to provide an escort home.

Pretty typical actually.

He did not say minor concussion he said serious concussion. He said nothing about x rays or a cat scan...again having insurance will get you better treatment.

Not denying that, I question the severity of a concussion if the hospital released him.

If I were charge nurse I would try my best to keep a patient with a severe concussion.

Unless he pressed hard and signed his name five times on those refusal of treatment waivers a severe concussion is a scary patient for a hospital to release. Americans are litigious.

Plainly put, if he ran away from cop regardless of actions before thab he should have been detained not killed.


Even if you a terrorist , regardless if you should be shot to death, a cop does not have the right to take your life unless his is actually in jeopardy. Cops have way to much authority now a ddays.

BUT, if the kid came after the cop when cops was out of the car then kids an idiot.

The kid attacking the cop in the car has nothing to do with what happened outside the car. If he was arrested he would be brought on charges for attacking the cop... if the kid was shot while attacking cop inside the car then kids an idiot an got what he deserved.

Cops should only fire weapon when there life or someone elses life is actually in immediet danger.

At the end of all this, examiner will know how and where and at which distance kid was shot. They have technology for all this. Making 8 threads and fighting over opinions mean nothing since facts arnt clearly out yet.

Everyone is judging and speculating over the unknown. There is 2 stories whuch are opposites, kid tried attacking cop outside car and was shot, justified shooting by anyone. Black,white,priest,criminal.

Or kid ran from cop and cop shot while kid fleeing, which is not justified and cop should be thrown in jail.

What happened before those events mean absolutly zero when it comes to the shooting. If he was detained then it would all matter for charges. Also, none of which actually involves racism.
