this is a clone, off an outdoor plant that showed some slight growth variances but nothing compared to this.
sadly, this clone ended up being a hermi, although her mom finished niceley (ill try and find pics of her)

These are from a backwood grow, with a great friend.
the strains were BC God Bud, Moroccan, and Geurillas Gusto.
this was when we first put them out on the hill, in 5-7 Gallon Smart Pots of Pro Mix, Coco and homemade Compost.

these pictures are from atop a short tree
DSCF9126.jpgDSCF9133.jpgDSCF9136.jpgDSCF9141.jpgDSCF9145.jpgDSCF9151.jpg

this one taken from the ground beside the picture tree on one of the watering paths.
DSCF9160.jpg

the Hill itself took 2 years of work, as it used to be solid brush and trees.
it is sloped toward the south, with very early morning light and a nice breeze.
we did alot of building retaining walls, terracing and landscaping to perfect this place, going as far as planting grass seed and laying down aggregate on the paths.
many more pictures from this grow to come.
Enjoy, and feel welcome bongsmilie

My 1sy Mushie grow, was tutored by another good friend/cultivator.

Golden Teacher mycelium block from SupaGro in Amsterdam.
real simple setup using a cloning dome with a heat mat and a little floro.
misted daily and took the dome off for a few minutes, other then that very little maintenance.
kept around 25 degrees and between 60-90% RH
all these pics are from harvest day, (1st flush) i forgot to keep track of the date and fruiting time.

Holy fuk Im down as a mofo! Been wanting to brew shine and beer for a while now, also been wanting to grow some shrooms for personal use!

Subbed up for sure :-)

600w Lumatek bare bulb vertically hung
250cfm exhaust fan, 2 circulating fans.
built and wired the room myself, had to put up a wall and install a new circuit strictly for the growroom.
7 Purple Moroccan from feamleseeds
been inside for about 2 weeks now, before that they were outside.

there still pure white so im gonna let them go for a while longer but they sure are fattening up under the HPS compared to outside
this is the grow i am currently working on, and will be the main feature of this journal (for now) most of the other pics are from the past.
thanks for looking, and PLEASE SAY HI :-P

im gonna be brewing up a new batch real soon (maybe tonight) and ill post up my process, thanks for sub'n
its great to see interest in such ventures ;-)

New Watering Sink!
all plumbing was done by me :bigjoint:
there is a garden hose outlet on the left side of the sink for filling buckets or whatever, as im gonna attach a couple feet of hose to it.
the tap set i got also has threads on the end for attaching a watering wand with a short hose to ease watering.
ill probably just throw a metal fridge rack across the top of it for draining plants, with fabric pots you can spin them on a metal grille (slowly) to gently wring water out of the bottom of them, speeding up watering time

this particularly faaaatt Purple Moroccan started to fall over, so i made her a stake and put the twisty ties to work
DSCF1813.jpgDSCF1821.jpgDSCF1822.jpgDSCF1828.jpgDSCF1829.jpgDSCF1830.jpg
starting to pack it on now:dunce:
DSCF1836.jpgDSCF1837.jpgDSCF1845.jpgDSCF1815.jpgDSCF1817.jpg
really stoked to have a big sink down there now, as rainy season is here so i cant water outside anymore
im gonna try and let these flower for quite a bit longer especially because they seem easy to keep fed and havent dropped any leaves.
today was a damn fine day off:sleep: bongsmilie
hope everyone else had a great day, i might have one more post later tonight ;-)
lemme know what you think! i like hearing peoples advice

thanks for checking things out, ive got a little teaser here for you
DSCF1798.jpg
i call this my "Shine Kit", as it has everything i need exept sugar and yeast
the barrel is a 45g, cut just above halfway (its my fermenter) and all the pots and the whole deal are in there.
the best part about this is that i brew my mash in the work room and it puts out HUGE AMOUNTS of CO2 which are then drawn into the grow room :-P
and the work area is always a constant temp, which is essential for brewing making it a very symbiotic relationship:hump:

i think im gonna start heating up water for the next batch, ill have pics up later
much love
-Lank

this is a complete show-and-tell of how i make my sugar wash, step by step.
and this is kinda part A because it takes a week to ferment before i can distill it (part B)

step1- clean yo shit. i just rinse all mine out with water ;-)
DSCF1852.jpgDSCF1853.jpg

step2- prep
DSCF1858.jpgDSCF1866.jpgDSCF1869.jpgDSCF1893.jpg

step3- heat up water, i heat 15L at a time then add roughly half a bag of sugar to each pot (i do this 4 times)
i just heat it up to make sugar dissolve faster, usually to less then 40c before mixing
DSCF1863.jpgDSCF1864.jpgDSCF1873.jpgDSCF1878.jpgDSCF1881.jpgDSCF1882.jpg
then my fermenter is finally full of what i call hummingbird food
DSCF1896.jpg

step4- is to add the yeast ONCE IT HAS COOLED BELOW 35c of else it would kill the yeast. mix well.
then i plop a aquarium heater (pictured above) in there and point a fan at the barrel to prevent overheating.
DSCF1906.jpgDSCF1901.jpgDSCF1902.jpgDSCF1903.jpgDSCF1905.jpg

i make 60L at a time, which means i have to run the still 4 times
ill put up a pic later of the barrel foaming.

thats my simple sugar wash. in about a week it will be 18% and ready for distillation so ill give you all a show and tell of my Pressure Cooker Still.
and for the next week it will put off c02 which will be drawn into my growroom :-P
everyone is welcome to comment

Nice work all around lank! I have been interested in distilling corn liquor. My brother in law does it, but he lives in Atlanta. I have a very nice spot for shrooms climate here is just right. Oregon has the most species in the country.

thanks for the kind words, i too have been thinking about brewing something with grain but it is alot more work then dissolving some dirt cheap slave labour sugar:-o
ive been looking for wild mushies too but without success, although i have read the only ones common here are the small liberty cap.
oregon is a nice place
thanks for visiting :-D

here is a very helpful link for anyone who is interested in making their own alcohol
http://homedistiller.org/

it helped me out IMMENSELY.
and its a very simple information-based site.
hopefully everyone is having a great Friday night, sure wish we could all pass stuff thru our monitors.......

a Medical Friend from BC bud Depot just came back into town, bringing some presents with him.

a replacement 600w Lumatek (other friends Quantum died in power outage)
a 20pk of BCBD Lowrider :dunce:
two 6pk of Mdanzig Sour Spyder :eyesmoke:

so i will be putting half of those in dirt real soon, and i will document those from start to finish as was requested.
there going to be run indoor under my 600w as soon as the Purple Morroccan finish, until then ill just stack some flouro`s over them.
pretty exited to be testing the Sour Spyder as there is only a small number of them available.

Here are Pics of the packaging and seeds,
quite clever packaging if you ask me, it looks like a realtor sign (plastic cardboard) chunk with q-tips stuffed in the holes and only the centre pocket contained seeds. it was very cost effecient and still effective.
the first pics are of the Mdanzig Seeds Sour Spyder (MDSS)
https://www.bcbuddepot.com/seed-list/limited-edition/mdanzig---sour-spyder/
very big beans, nice and tiger-striped and uniform
DSCF1908.jpgDSCF1909.jpgDSCF1910.jpgDSCF1912.jpgDSCF1913.jpgDSCF1914.jpg

these are 7 of the 20 Lowrider#2 fem (there were 24 seeds in a 20 pack) from BC Bud Depot
https://www.bcbuddepot.com/seed-list/bc-bud-depot/lowryder-2-feminized/
they were in the same packaging, labelled BCLF
slightly smaller beans with less uniformity, but no obvious 'Duds'
DSCF1920.jpg
these will be started tomorrow, and i will keep all pictures here.
very happy to have been lucky enough to receive free genetics, with the only condition being that he wanted pictures and reviews, which i am more then happy to provide. :bigjoint:
the sun is shining! happy days everyone!

so along with the aforementioned Autoflowering seeds i will also be starting some freebies from Attitude,
im gonna start them all at the same time later today, gonna be a full room next run with a dozen Auto`s surrounding the freebies.
has anyone tried these before?
DSCF1923.jpg
this is some beautiful indoor Moby Dick Auto from my friend
DSCF1928.jpgDSCF1929.jpg
this is my bong, :hump:
DSCF1933.jpg
and this is a really cool plant called a bromeliad which lives in the growroom part-time
DSCF1930.jpg

any insight on the strains i picked would be awesome, OR YOU CAN JUST VISIT AND SAY HI ;)
im gonna go sit under my light for a while and take pictures :eyesmoke:

-Lank

DSCF1740.jpg:hump:

its kinda hot directly above the bulb but leaves can get like 4 inches away from the sides before they get light bleached, because all the heat goes straight up without the interference of a reflector;-)
