thanks dawg! have a bit of a mag def situation. its not bad just a few clawed over leaves. these girls just got real hungry real quick once i started using the tea. i added some "go green" cal/mag supplement and boosted the girls up to 1000ppm they are loving it and since being topped they are both pushing up the lower branches quickly
Oh Hell Ya Brother 2easy.Thats One Of The Many Benefits Of Running A Benefical Tea.Whats Your Tea Recipe??

im an aussie so finding the popular brands of bennies was near impossible as aussie customs is pretty strict on bringing anything organic or bacteria etc into the country.

i ended up using gogo juice
cobra bennies
green bio pellets
and i will be starting to add alfalfa soon see how that goes not sure how much of that to add in yet but im sure the info will be easy enough to find

im pretty loose on my measurements i pretty much just throw a little of each in.

it works well and smells nice and foams up so it ticks all the boxes. it has a good mix of myco' and baccilus and a few others. the green bio is big on baccilus which is the main one i wanted because apparently the others all help to protect the roots but baccilus contains a protein that kills pythium

things are going well added the alfalfa tea 2 days ago plants seem to like it.

buddha tahoe is a beast. she looks mangey but shes hiding some really crazy branching under those giant fans. the stems are rock solid i cant even bend them so she will probably be a major pain to scrog but i have a good feeling that she is going to produce some nice big buds. shes also a nute pig.

the vanilla kush has the screen down and is looking good. not eating as much as the buddha tahoe but still quite hungry.

gotta love this buddha tahoe, this thing is a beast. thick stems, huge leaves, strong branches that dont bend, dark dark dark green leaves. i think im in love. i snagged a few clones today too.

the vanilla kush is coming along, she is having a few slight issues kind of looks like a some slight mag def, and maybe some iron too but i have been giving cal/mag so im going to do a flush and run some nutes without cal/mag. i think i might be giving her a little too much mag and its causing problems. i think maybe there is a lot of mag in the tea i have been feeding because of the mollasses in it so maybe i have been going overboard

i usually put it in at around 5.5 and let it drift up to 6.5. has always worked for me but this girl just seems to stay stable. the buddha tahoe drifts like crazy.

anywho checked the girls first thing this morning and the vk is looking dreadful. she is showing signs of multiple deficiencies, mottled speckly pale leaves curled tips, yellowing tips curling in edges, some lower branches even went soft like spaghetti.

also i noticed this morning that my ph has dropped to 6.0 which is not a bad number but the fact that it is dropping freaked me right out and i thought root rot was back for sure. i pulled off my screen so i could access the res and the roots are stunning sparkling white and have had massive growth since i last looked in there so it isnt that.

anywho dumped the res and im running flora kleen now. im going to run fresh nutes at around 1500ppm with no additives and just see what happens. its a lockout of some sort, hopefully i can get it in check before to much damage is done

i was going to say the same on the nutes but didnt want you to think i was picking on everything. i found that anything over 1000 in hydro is just not beneficial. in dwc i stay below 600.

fair enough. i have taken that onboard. i filled her up with 1000ppm nutes and just tea no additives. im pretty sure it was a salt lockout from too much mag but i guess it could have been too high nutes? although she was definitely eating them ppm's were dropping steadily everyday and there was no sign of burn. either way i will run her as is for a few days and see what happens.

im pretty confident shes going to bounce back as its only been a few hrs but ph is already on the rise which i consider to be a good sign. falling ph sets off alarm bells for me

well i definitely had a nute lockout. most likely caused by 2 much cal/mag. i have rectified the issue and been feeding without the cal/mag and the vk has come good showing plenty of healthy new growth.

the vk. please excuse the blemishes. i know shes not the prettiest plant at the moment but shes coming good

the buddha tahoe og. finally put the screen on this girl
