Tga. Still got it? Worth investing? What ya think

I looking at TGA seeds this year. Used to run some great gear back in the day. 9 lb hammer, Jack the Ripper, quirckle, Jazz et.
Looking at a new list and barely recognize these strains any more.
Looking for a couple packs. Not sure where to start Thanks RIU!!

Subcool passed away last year so if you are thinking about running TGA seeds it would be best to get them now.

I know, for sure sad day. That’s kinda what sparked my interest again.

alot of seed banks outside of the usa still have a bunch of his stuff instock if you do alot of searching

I don’t know where you got that list from but it ain’t accurate at all.
Like others said, Sub passed away, and two of his former head breeders (Badger & Joel) still make the classic TGA/Subcool strains.
The best place to find those seeds is at Genetic Supply (they have the best prices by far) but they are still available at Attitude/Choice (you’ll pay more, have to deal with long shipping times, and customs).

Also I believe Norstar Genetics has a few strains still around that he bred for TGA.

The Joel I mentioned above, as one of Sub's former head breeders, is the man behind NorStar Genetics.
So yes, he still has a lot of the original TGA/Subcool genetics, and has made a plethora of crosses with them, too.
NorStar has also made a few TGA/Subcool F2's like Jesus OG, Deadlights, and Pennywise.

I got some Vortex and Querkle running from Genetic Supply now. Its in veg a little over a month and its legit.

check out Ms. Jill, she has kept a few of the lines alive and is technically the owner of the now disbanded TGA brand. Her purple afghani stuff looks killer

I popped a few jilly-bean f-2s from her, I have about 3 weeks to go before harvest, everything's looking fantastic and smelling great .

There are a couple ppl still out there keeping the strains alive.
D n D genetix has a feminized G.L.R. They had a giveaway thru Christmas.
I actually won a pack.

I got some JTR and Querkle from Genetic Supply last month, I can’t wait to get them started on my next run, plus a lot of badgers different non original TGA stuff sounds pretty killer, I’m gonna have to try at least a couple out this year alongside a few old TGA classics I’ve always loved

I just wonder who has Agent Orange on stock.

I'm thinking about snagging the overstock Jesus OG but it lost out to Uva and Kaffir lime.
If you take something to f2 it's almost always because you managed to refine it slightly, and f2's have the best rare/recessive phenotypes hidden behind the f1's original genetics.

I ran lots of his gear back in the day...Sure wish I could get the vortex again. I didn't find out about sub until late last year...it was a major bummer. He was a character and will be missed.

I don't know what is discontinued but if you can find anything with the Bloodwreck in it..

Badger has a few crosses with blood wreck as a mother if I’m not mistaken
