Switching weak CFL lights to new ones middle of grow?

I have 2 seedlings little over a week old (~2in tall). I am ready to move them in my DWC tub, but right now they been only growing in rockwool cubes in water.

Both plants have two 15watt CFL on a Y splitter, but I want to upgrade the CFL to two 42watt on a Y splitter.

What I am worried about is changing the CFL lights from 15watt to 42watt, at the same time as moving my plants into the DWC tub.

My first grow so I am trying to learn as I go.

You're good. Go ahead and add new bulbs as you buy them. The plant will respond well to increased light (of the right spectrum).

Upgrade is good.....make the change....I suggest using 4 23wt cfls instead of 2 42wt and using 5000k until you see pistils then switch to 2700k.GL.

I might have to, I can't seen to find any place locally selling 42 watt 5000k cfls.
